The first general is Jadeite. He is the weakest of the four generals. His mission was to collect energy from human beings for Queen Beryl. Of course, Sailor Moon always thwarts his plans although Sailor Moon cowers in fear most of the time. Ultimately, Queen Beryl ordered Jadeite to dispose of the Sailor Senshi, or he would be sentenced to eternal sleep. Of course, he failed, and he was sentenced to eternal sleep.

The second general is Nephlyte. His mission was find humans near their highest energy output and use them to his advantage. His powers focus mainly on astrology. Ultimately, he fell in love with a human, Serena's best friend Molly. Later, Zoycite attacked and killed him without mercy. Nephlyte was the only one of the Four Generals who reformed before his untimely death.

The third general is Zoycite. Zoycite or Zoisite (whichever you spell it) was the most controversial anime character of the first season. In the original anime, Zoycite is a man and in love with Malachite(Kunzite); therefore, in the NA dub, he became a she. Her mission was to find the 7 rainbow crystals locked within 7 humans. In the end, she became too evil for even Queen Beryl. She tried to kill Tuxedo Mask, and lost the Imperium Silver Crystal to Sailor Moon and the Sailor Senshi. She was later obliterated by her Queen Beryl, and Zoycite died in Malachite's arms.

The fourth and most powerful of the Four Generals is Malachite. In the original anime, he's called Kunzite, but his name had to be changed in the NA dub because the stone "Kunzite" is named after a person (At least, that's what I've heard). Malachite's mission was to retrieve the Imperium Silver Crystal from Sailor Moon so Queen Beryl could release the Negaforce. It was a lucky shot by Sailor Moon that sent one of Malachite's weapons to back to him and killed him in the process. His last words were "Zoycite! Zoycite, do you hear me? I'll be coming to you soon!"

This witch is Queen Beryl. She is the second most powerful member of the Negaverse. It was she, The Negaforce and the Four Generals who eradicated the Moon Kingdom long ago. The sad thing is, she had a crush on Prince Darien and tried to kill his love, Princess Serena. However, Serena and Darien died together. Queen Serenity had to save everyone, including the Dark Kingdom in order to save the Princess as well as the people of the Moon Kingdom. One thousand years later, Queen Beryl and her Four Generals returned to Earth and started collecting energy for their queen. In the end, Queen Beryl was on her knees, for a rose had mortally wounded Queen Beryl by piercing her black heart. The Negafoce exploded and supercharged Queen Beryl. In a heated battle between Beryl and Princess Serenity, Princess Serena and the Inner Senshi managed to defeat Queen Beryl, freeing the Earth from all evil...at least for a little while...
