Shiroh Tokisada Amakusa is the 7th Holy Warrior, and a traitor to the Holy Warriors as
well. When she fight for the oppressed, in the battle of Shimbara, she was attacked and killed
by one of her own generals. Wanting revenge, she abandoned her holy vows and became a servant
for the evil god, Ankokushin Ambrosia.
After she sold her soul to Ambrosia, she defeated the armies of Shimbara with her new powers and killed the six Holy Warriors. 100 years later, she and her armies ravaged the land. After Haohmaru recovered his memories of his past life, the six Holy Warriors faced Amakusa and defeated her. Afterwards, Ambrosia appeared and attacked the Holy Warriors. With Amakusa's holy sword, Haohmaru single-handedly sealed Ambrosia away from the world. In the Samurai Shodown game, her weapon is the Gadama Jewel. Another interesting fact about Amakusa is that her gender is always in question. To my knowledge, no one is exactly sure if Amakusa is either male or female. |

This woman is Haohmaru's adoptive mother. Her actual name is unknown. She asked her son, Haohmaru to catch a bear for a neighboring villiage. While Haohmaru was away, Earthquake's armies attacked and burned the villiage. At the fight, a single arrow struck her back, and she died in Haohmaru's arms. Her last words to Haohmaru were, "I know one thing. You have a greater purpose, something you were born to do. Seek out, and find your destiny. My spirit will be with you always. Don't worry." |

This is a special one. This is a picture of Tachibana Ukyo, the only character that was omitted in the anime. Why he was taken out is beyond me. This was not of the fault of A.D. Vision. This and many sequences of animation was taken out in the final cut and the missing parts were used in the actual ending. All of the animation sequences used in the ending of the anime were scenes taken out by the ones who made the anime in Japan. |
