A first aid kit is important to treat minor injuries. I consider my first aid kit as multi-purpose: home, car, work, and travel. The cost for my first aid kit is around $80.00. Although expensive than some pre-made First Aid Kits, I purchased quality first aid items and I have extras. Here are the items in my first aid kit:

Bandages 15 to 20 Assorted Size Band-Aids 3 Medium Gauze Pad (3 inches X 3 inches) 1 Rolled Gauze Pad ( 3 inches X 2 inches) 3 Medium Non-Stick Pads (2 inches X 3 inches) 2 First Aid Waterproof Tape (1/2 inch X 5 yards) 3 Eye Pads

The contents can be put inside a one gallon, microwaveable container.

Be aware of expiration dates for some first aid items. Replacing the items take time and cost money, but nobody should put a price to injuries and lives.
