I find that this game is not as good as the others, but I still recommend playing it, to know what happened between QFG2 and QFG4 (as well as to get a better import character). There is nothing really special about this game, besides the better graphics than QFG1(V1) and QFG2.
After destroying Ad Avis, the Sultan of Shapeir adopts you as his son. It is not a long time afterwards that Aziza, a wizard friend, tells you that Ad Avis's death is effecting the world. His spirit still lives... You get a message from Rakeesh's wife, Kreesha, that war in Tarna is begining. She feels demonic activity is causing this. Three days later you get to Tarna via magic portal. From there you help catch a thief who is declared honorless. A couple of days later you travel with Rakeesh to talk this out with the Laibon of the Simbani, who Uhura is. It seems that both the leopardmen and the Simbani stole something from each other. From there you will soon meet with a leopardman who is actually a woman, go to the hidden leopardman village, and go with five others to destroy the demon who is bringing other demons into the world.
+ Ability to import from QFG1-2. Many different ways to solve puzzles. Realistic (disregarding the fantasy element), examples: items have weight, you can only hold a certain amount of weight, etc. Time changes from day to night. If honorable (and fighter), then you turn to a special Paladin job near the end of the game (if you are not already a Paladin from QFG2). Funny credits!
- Awkward battles. A few glitches. Somewhat easy to get stuck. Constant changing of day and night while traveling on map is annoying. Not as good as the first two. It seems Sierra rushed too much in making this. Not much for the Thief to steal.

What do I say? People who have a hard time with Zelda or Lufia should leave this alone (unless you want to get a walkthru). You can get these four as an anthology, so buy that to get the best price.
