My escape from the world.
I think today i finally got the inspiration that i needed to begin writing my story. Today I just realized that this is the way I see the sandal fetish I have....and that this is its purpose for me....an escape.
Hope you don't get bored already, but I think i'll start by telling a bit about my background, so sit and get comfortable with your favorite pair of thongs.
A bit of history...
I can trace the beginnings of my fetish back to childhood. I can't remember the exact age, but I do remember being attracted by bare feet since 3-5, the earliest age that you are usually still able to remember but it's all blurry.
This is how it started...as a "special attraction" to bare feet, back then to other children's feet, boys or girls. I liked to see them wherever, either in front of me for real, or on tv, magazines, and even comics wherever you could find any. While watching i mechanically touched myself over my pants and had a pleasant new sensation, but it could happen only while watching bare feet.
A bit later I started
on swimming and karate lessons, and i used rubber cross-strap sandals before
going in and after getting out of the pool, as everyone else did (i don't
remember anyone wearing v-shaped thongs there). I had only seen rubber
thongs at the same place where i got my cross-strap sandals. I found them
to be weird and funny, and i even thought it was something only the Japanese
would use! *chuckles*
and i used to hear
that it was better to use cross straps because thongs hurt. Anyway, i started
seeing bare feet or with cross-strap sandals so often and at the same place
that they "lost their appeal", and i hated those cross-strap rubber sandals!
I had already forgotten about liking bare feet by the time, and it continued over the next years till long after I had already quit all those classes, even though i remember liking to see a girl friend of mine's bare feet A LOT, but only hers. Ooohhh how could I miss this! My very first favorite movie of the time was "Die Hard" starring Bruce Willis, it showed some GREAT close-ups on bare feet... (which i obviously made sure to keep) actually he's barefoot throughout the whole movie...YOU have seen it, haven't you?? *guess i still have a lot to talk about movies and sandals*
It was around the age of 13 when my sandal fetish was really "born". As i mentioned before, it is difficult to spot the exact time of it, because it all suddenly came so naturally i barely noticed. I do recall one specific day when i was around age 13-14, that i was wandering around a supermarket when i stopped in the rubber sandals hall. Half of it was loaded with cross-straps, and the other half was full of v-shaped rubber thongs, or flip flops. I stared at those and found them as weird and funny as I used to see them when i was smaller, and i thought again of the Japanese...by the time i was also starting to get attracted by their culture, and decided i wanted to feel just how "they felt" when wearing them (i had already seen thongs worn by other people somewhere else, but i still saw it as a Japanese thing). So i grabbed a pair of blue rubber thongs with white inner soles, took off one shoe and sock right there and tried it on.....THAT THONG between my big toe and the rest felt so funny and it was a totally new feeling to me.....and i liked it a lot! By this time, that "special attraction" had become a fetish, and i got sexually aroused by watching sandals...(well, i did get turned on before too, but i realized it was a true fetish afterwards)
That was just about the beginning.
Not long after I went back and bought a pair of those blue rubber thongs, but my size was already sold out, but i couldn't wait to have a pair anymore, so i bought one size smaller which was all i could find (there were black thongs my size i think, but at the time i only wanted blue ones! silly me...)
I started to find
people in thong sandals mainly on tv at one or another show or movie. Then
that war of Somalia started, and while watching news about it, i noticed
that 99% of the people there wore thong sandals. i also read things about
that war in TIME and Newsweek magazines, and obviously they had photos
too...so since then i started looking for thongs in magazines, and became
a magazine ripper maniac! Around that time while searching and making a
mess at the school library through all the magazines i found a Time magazine
from February 1, 1993....the BEST cover of a magazine i've ever seen.
It showed the picture
of a jailed member of a Chinese triad, with a black cloth covering all
his face except the eyes and wearing red rubber FLIP FLOPS! so I slowly
ripped it off, just like that! and i had also seen it arrive to another
person from another apartment at my building, and i snatched that too
*grin* but i congratulated myself for keeping two of the same, because
i have already lost one by now. Who knows how many magazines were left
at the school library with missing pages ripped off by sandalman ;-
)
(by the way, Time
and Newsweek aren't the great resource they were for some time...National
Geographic is better than that sometimes, and all fashion and people magazines
around summertime)
I had already become
a sandal maniac! I looked for them everywhere on tv and magazines, even
had the vcr ready all the time for recording anything that might come around...and
i still do all of that, but not that often, just whenever i can. One day
as i thought back about all this, i realized it was specifcally male feet
in sandals that aroused me and made me all crazy, as it had always been
something weird to see where i live, and men used them much less unlike females who used them twice or thrice or
10 times more...but i'm so glad that tendency is changing for the last 2 years! (sometime around summertime i was reading a fashion review article on the net and it said that in 1999 flip flops were so insisted on male fashion more than ever!)
The very first time
i ever used internet, the very first thing i thought to do was to
search for sandal pics! but my searching skills were totally limited, since
i only knew of one search engine and didn't come up with the best keywords
for it...most of the time i looked for "japanese sandals", because i already
had a big thing for those traditional wooden platform sandals....(they're called "Geta") the very
first time i saw a pair of those was on a tv documentary about the tea
ceremony, and i immediately got thrilled by them! I got obsessed by them,
and that was the first thing i wanted to find on the net!
My "tastes" have been in a constant evolution. I went from bare feet to all kinds of thongs, japanese, "indian" styles, and Teva-likes are attracting me more, as well as leather and "italian" styles, but i think thongs will always be my favorite....as long as there is a separation between toes, i'll have a winner!
Talking about size and color tastes, i tend to like medium to big sizes (by the way my size is 8 in U.S. measure, or 26 cm.) so i like others' feet from size 8 on...although VERY big feet aren't also that cool for me.
My favorite sandal
color is black from a long time ago now, because i noticed it was most
used by all who i saw on tv or real time or anywhere. Skin color? well
i don't want to sound racist here, but i tend to like white or light or
mid-brown feet...and ask me about oriental feet in sandals! no matter what
size or how narrow or broad they are....they'll always arouse me more *g*
as my "tastes" have been slowly changing, I don't really like dark ones
like i used to when i read about Somalia....
Now i also don't
get aroused with any person wearing sandals that has to use them because
they don't have anything else to wear...no matter what part of the world
it is, if sandals are related to poverty, they won't do anything to me...to
think about it makes me feel guilty (having fun looking at them while they
may be suffering and even wishing to have a pair of shoes)
