Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII®

Hmm. . . doesn't he look a bit undernourished here? Well, this picture will just have to do for the moment. He looks a little younger here too, right? I think he's supposed to be 20 something. . .

Well, an introduction about this hero... yes, he's from Final Fantasy VII, a role-playing game. In fact, he's the main character. He joined SOLDIER, a sort of 'army' by the Shinra Organization. Or was it Shinra Corporation? Whatever. Anyway, the storyline of this game is rather confusing. Cloud claims that he used to be part of SOLDIER, but actually, he's a failed experiment. All his so-called 'memories' are fake, and were put into his mind probably through a computer.

Failed experiment. Yes, he was created after Sephiroth. Sephiroth was created by Shinra using bits of Jenova. The Shinra Coporation were hoping to be able to get to the Promised Land, thus they created Sephiroth. Jenova was an Ancient that had probably died a long time ago.

About the Ancients, I guess they are people who are in close connection with Nature & Earth. It was rumoured that they would go to the Promised Land after their death.

Cloud has a childhood friend in Tifa. Yup, the girl on the bottom left hand corner. The girl on the right, Aeris or Aerith, used to be a flower-girl. She's also an Ancient. However, she dies in the game.

As for the yellow creature on the top right hand corner, it's called a chocobo. If you look closely, it looks like an ostrich or a bird of some kind. It can run very fast & acts as a mode of transportation.

Cloud Strife's weapon is an extremely large blade, as you can see here. Tifa Lockheart's is her fist & the gloves she wears. Aeris' weapon is a staff. She looks kind of clerical with it, huh.

Anyway, Cloud is not a total human. He is actually made up of bits of Jenova & Mako energy. Mako energy is taken from the Earth, but as more Mako energy is being used up, the Earth would eventually die. This game is as confusing as it sounds! My brother played it for a while, but now, he has stopped playing it already & I don't know why. I only want to watch him finish the game so that I can get to know the storyline. =P

Cloud Strife...he's one dumb guy where matters of the heart are concerned. He has a cool character & is kinda cute at times. Well, he has got 2 girls fighting over him! But, at one point in the game, he loses his memory. Tifa then stays behind to look after him. So, Cloud is temporarily out of the game. . .
*sighz* Cloud is such a sad character . . .but he has determination!

Hmm...I think he looks macho when he poses like that, carrying a large blade...
