Part
II: Elementary School Meetings [Back
to Top]
(This
section lists my elementary school friends. I hope you can go through
all these ^_^;)
Ruth
She is my first real friend since very young. I forgot when, but
I think it was grade 2. She moved to another school when we were
grade 4. Since she moved back to Taiwan on June 1998, we don't contact
each other much except through ICQ or email. I hope we can still
keep the friendship string from breaking. I know she's one of the
smartest friend that I have and know. She is very good in piano too,
much better than me! Her grades are good too, in contrast to my grades
-_-...but I guess grades don't matter as lonng as we are friends! ^_^
I forgot a lot of things about me and Ruth. Then she told me when
I started playing with Momo and ignoring her, she started playing with
Millie. I hardly remembered why she met Millie, now I remember cause
she told me. I'm not really a good friend back then though.
Ruth said I'm always mad at her in a short time. One time I was mad
at her at recess and already forgot about it at lunch. She's glad
that I'm like that, because one of her friends in her new school is mad
at her because Ruth ignored her one time because she is busy, so her friend
never talked to her anymore.
Momo
She is a Japanese friend of mine. I met her in grade 1 but I actually
started hanging out with her when I was in grade 3 but I'm not too sure
about it. I used to go to her house every friday to take free Japanese
lessons with two other girls. Her mom is very nice too. But
I stopped the lessons when I moved to a new house. In fact, I stopped
contacting them after grade 6 because I moved and I was too scared to call
them. (I don't know why I was scared. Now I regret -_-...)
One time in grade 3 I was angry at her because it was suppose to be my
turn on the swings. I asked the person and he/she said I could get
the swings after him/her. When he/she went off the swings, I ran
to to the swing just when Momo went on it. I was angry but I'm not
sure if she knew. Recesses ends (10:15 to 10:45am) and Lunch arrives
(12:00 to 1:00pm). After finishing lunch, she's asked me as if nothing
happened, "Do you want to play?" I followed her to our favorite tree,
with Ruth and Sam and we played together.
Jacqueline
Ruth went back to Taiwan when we were in grade 4 because of his dad's business.
I was very sad that time. I was in a different class than Momo and
the others so I stopped playing with them. At a time, I played with
all those other girls (forgot the names) but that wasn't too long.
I met Jacqueline in grade 4. She has two brothers. She was
also very shy but we got a long. We are still in contact now, hopefully.
I went to her house few times. Her house was quite messy, I mean
the game room. I still remember the toys, video games, homework and
other things are scattered on every corners and areas of the floor.
Hehe! But it maybe different now.
Sheena
We met at grade 5. She used to me another one of my closest
friend too. She taught me how to play judo and everytime we go out
the fields and talk. Eventually that grew bored and we became close
to Carmen and Natalie group again. Sometimes we were in Momo's group
(Momo, Sheena, Niki, Christina, Katelyn, Julie and Alanna). Once
Sheena joined Momo's group and Carmen and Natalie got a big fight with
her. Our relationships are too complicated that I don't remember
what went first and what went afterwards. (Does Sheena hang out with me
first and then the other way? Or did I hang out with Momo and Sheena or....I
forgot and it doesn't really matter anymore.)
Natalie
She's a year younger than me so she's a grade younger than me. I
met her when she was in grade 4 and I was in grade 5. That time two
grades were in the same class. At that time Sheena, Carmen, Natalie
and me were good friends. But Sheena went back to Momo's group (after
the fight she apologized) caused Natalie and Carmen to get mad. At
that time I was kind of the middle person and don't know where to hang
out. Carmen pulled me to their group, and Sheena pulled me to theirs.
It wasn't really great. This is a story booklet we wrote for a class
assignment: (I think she wrote it though, and I just helped a little -_-)
Back in the
Past
Today was the first
day of the summer vacation, and it was also Jessica's birthday. YEAH! Oh,
that's Good. No, that's Bad.
Her mother bought
her a bicycle for her birthday present, but Jessica didn't know how to
ride a bicycle. Jessica started crying. SOB.. Oh, that's
Bad. No, that's Good.
Jessica's dad came
home and taught her how to drive the bicycle. Jessica drove it very
fast. WOW! Oh, that's Good. No, that's Bad.
Jessica drove her
bicycle in the middle of the road. A car came and was about to bump
into Jessica! EEK! Oh, that's Bad. No, that's Good.
The car stopped
and Jessica opened her eyes. She didn't know where she was, but she
was at least not dead. WHEW.. Oh, that's Good. No, that's
Bad.
Jessica found herself
being in the middle of the crowd. Everyone had black eyes and hair.
Jessica rang the bell on her bike. CLING! Oh, that's Bad.
No, that's Good.
She crashed into
lots of people and no one followed her anymore. CRASH! Oh,
that's Good. No, that's Bad.
A man came and picked
her up. He threw her in the garbage can. THUMP! Oh, that's
Bad. No, that's Good.
Jessica closed her
eyes. She found herself at the same place after the car stopped.
Jessica is glad that she might be able to go back home. The lucky
thing is that she
still have the bicycle
with her. WHEW.. Oh, that's Good. No, that's Bad.
Jessica lost her
bicycle! UH-OH... Oh, that's Bad. No, that's Good.
Jessica is back
home, her mother brought her a new bicycle. HURRAY! Oh, that's
Good. No, that's GREAT!!!
Carmen
She's also Natalie's friend and a year younger than me. We got along
sometimes. After grade 5, since Natalie went to Hong Kong, she joined
other grades so after that I only hang out with Momo, Sheena and the others
and had a lot of fun!
Thomas
He is close to Carmen and he's kind of funny. He's a year
younger than me too, so I think of him as a little brother. We are
not really close friends but we talked in class. Once I put thomas's
name on my notebook and Natalie and Carmen started asking me all those
questions.
Niki
She's a friend of Momo but we got along and played together. I met
her in grade 5 too. I still remember our 'Secret Place' and the birds
nest incident with them. Too bad time cannot make me young again!
Niki loves animals, because she has a lot of animals. She has a dog
called Pepper (very athletic), 2 cats of what I remember, a rabbit, not
sure how many mice, a pig (not sure?), a chicken (not sure?), and many
more that I've forgotten. I don't know how many she has now, but
the ones I listed are the ones I knew she had when we were in grade 6.
Anny
Anny is a good friend of mine whom I met in grade 6. She's the only
daughter in her family. At that time she is a little taller than
me. She's in grade 7 when I met her. We become friends and
sometimes I go to her house, and play video games. Sometimes Jacqueline
is with us too. I stopped contacting everyone of them after grade
6. Oh yes, and her mom prepares delicious snacks.
Anny's draws well.
She draws cartoons, anime (Japanese Animation) and shading. I think
she got a prize for the best artist in school. One thing that surprised
me was that she didn't attend any art classes (except for learning shading).
Her two friends Amelia and Tina (same age as Anny) draws well too.
Amelia draws more realistic objects and less cartoons while Tina kind of
draw pictures on one topic at a time (e.g., she once drew Garfield and
friends in her Greece and Rome booklet project).
Jessie
I met Jessie at grade 6. She is very good at cooking. I remember
at some point I got close to Jacqueline and Jessie. Once they cried
because I won't tell them who I like (boy) in school. We have some
fight some other times too. I got into a fight with Sheena and Momo
one time but I forgot when. I only know Jacqueline and Sheena
aren't really good friends. But that doesn't matter anymore.
Mark
I remember our group in grade 6 always play and make fun of him.
He kind of funny and he always learn Cantonese swear words from us (he's
not Chinese). Once I remember he was yelling 'puk gai' (fall on street)
and he was jumping around and he really did fell down. That was funny.
