Subject: Hannya Tattooed

Hannya's arms are tattooed with those stripes & the thing is that they aren't evenly spaced hence your brain tends to think that they are. So, when you estimate how long they are you are wrong. You get the crap beat out of you.

OK, the tattoo thing is kinda like this...
Have you ever seen those two lines like this?

>----------<
<---------->

When drawn on paper, the outward brackets look like they are longer but in actually, the two lines are the same length.

Well, Hannya is kind of like this. The horizon stripes on his arms are tattooed in generally symetric patterns but not quite. They are spaced so that your brain wants to believe that they are the same distance & when they move, it blurs together so that it is wither longer or shorter than you estimated.

Subject: SamuraiX On AXN Channel

Recently, Singapore fans have stopped receiving broadcast of Rurouni Kenshin at around the 35th episode (Kenshin vs Senkaku) and it seems that the series might not be resumed soon. This is what AXN said about the sudden stop of SamuraiX.

"With regards to your query as to why the SamuraiX series was abruptly stopped, AXN has limited broadcast rights for SamuraiX and is unable to show the series in 1998. However, AXN is pursuing this matter and will bring SamuraiX back to the screen when the issue has been settled."

Seiryuu, Sano and Rurouni went to see the personnel in charge of planning the programs and were told to write in to them and get more people to write in to them to request for SamuraiX. The more people write, the faster AXN will try to get it back. Since that was what they said, Seiryuu and Rurouni decided to start a letter-writing campaign. They were also assured that AXN was trying their best to get the rights for SamuraiX as it is the MOST popular show on AXN.

Therefore, we would like to seek our overseas friends' help in this regard. We intend to write as many letters as we can to Rurouni (our Singapore representative) who would then redirect everything to our local cable provider.

If you don't mind, could you help us in this regard?

Dear Sir,
RE: SamuraiX on Channel AXN

State your concern about the sudden cancellation at an abrupt episode in Singapore... then tell them what you think of the show and how you feel about it.

Although it might not concern the area where you live, you would like the Singapore fans to be able to continue watching... blah blah...

Yours faithfully,
Your Name
