I feel that "cute" is an ambiguous term!
We can understand what "beautiful" means, but one just can't seem to trust the word "cute"!
But...
Girl: "The word "cute" is really hard to comprehend!"
Boy: "Why?"
Girl: "If we talk about a "beautiful person", we can still understand it! Ah... it feels like that!"
Boy: "Right!"
Girl: "But the term "cute" is too broad!"
Boy: "Really?"
Girl: "The term "cute" is really too ambiguous, because "cute" can be used to describe anything!"
Girl: ""Cute flower"!"
Girl: ""Cute bird"!"
Girl: ""Cute sewage cover"!"
Boy: "Is the sewage cover cute?" (Boy frowns in confusion)
Girl: "Everybody sees things differently, but at least it sounds better than "beautiful sewage cover", right? Yah... not a lot of people would describe it as "beautiful sewage cover", but wouldn't there be more people saying "cute sewage cover"!?
Boy: "Would there be?"
Girl: "Sure! Now when I look at it, this sewage cover looks strong and cute!"
Boy: "The sewage cover?"
Girl: "Because no matter how everyone steps on it, it will still stay faithful without any complaints nor regrets!"
Boy: "What you are saying makes sense!"
Girl: "I feel that there is actually no special meaning to the word "cute"! If we do not know how to describe an object, we then only need to say that it is "cute" and that will be fine!"
Boy: "For example?"
Girl: "For example the couple next door have a new baby, and when we see the baby's face, we think..."
Boy: ""Cute baby"!"
Girl: "The principal took his white dog for a walk in the University's garden..."
Boy: ""Cute dog"!"
Girl: "While shopping, upon seeing a penguin soft toy in the shop's window..."
Boy: ""Cute penguin"!"
Girl: "You see!"
Boy: "I get it!"
Girl: "Therefore... I always felt that the word "cute" is untrustworthy, because in these 19 years, no matter where and when, I've said the word "cute" many times! Even if someone says that I'm "cute", sigh... this is just to keep the conversation going, only said "cute" to break the ice! So I will not feel anything, no matter who called me "cute", I will forget it straight away! Even if they say that I'm "cute", my heart does not beat faster nor am I happier! But... my thinking has changed recently!"
Boy: "Why?"
Girl: "Hey... how do you find me?"(Girl turns around and faces Boy)
Boy: "Very cute!"
Girl turns red and backs off... waaay back.
Boy: "What's wrong?"
Girl: "It doesn't work! Why is it that when other people say it, I've got no reaction! Why is it that only when you say "cute", will cause my "heart to beat faster"!"
Boy: "Are you okay? Your face is really red!"
Girl: "Even though it's not really okay, but... I want to feel my "heart beating fast" all the time! So strange!"
Guy Friends: "Hi! You look "cute" today too!"(Waves at them)
Girl: "No feelings at all, why?"
Boy: "You can slowly think about the reason! From today onwards, I will call you "cute" everyday!"(Girl's face turns all red)
Girl: "I will be careful, and make sure that I don't get a heart attack!"
