Keiichi Morisato

Keiichi is the main character in Oh! My Goddess. He is somewhat short, with dark hair and not that good looking. But as luck would have it, but an accidental phone call he ends up calling the Goddess Relief Office, and is granted one wish by the beautiful goddess Belldandy. Thinking it is some sort of joke being played on him, or maybe a dream, he thinks he has nothing to loose and abruptly announces that he wishes that Belldandy would be his girlfriend forever. At this point, he realizes that this was no joke when his wish is approved. However, Keiichi is thrown out of his dorm room when his fellow students find him breaking their greatest rule of no girls in the dorm. And so he and Belldandy find themselves soon housed in an old temple. Keiichi is a college student going to a technical college, as is his sister who soon joins the crew of Oh! My goddess. However, as the series evolves, it becomes evident that in fact Keiichi's wish was really a set up, and that he and Belldandy had met as children. In fact it was also her wish that they be together once more.

Belldandy is the goddess of nature, and the present in Kosuke Fujishima's anime and manga series Oh! My Goddess. She's beautiful, caring, innocent and true. The typical beauty of the series, she is tall, and has gorgeous long brown hair, along with a personality that draws people to her. Also known as the whiner in the series, she is introduced right from the start, when an accidental phone call by the distress young Keiichi catches the attention of Heaven. Sent to grant Keiichi any one wish he might want, this is only the beginning of her appearance as she is made his girlfriend forever.

Urd appears mysteriously out of a video scene in the second episode, and second manga, to begin her malicious trickery. Being the older sister of Belldandy, she is also half demon in the manga, and has quite a character. She is outgoing, and enjoys keeping up the front of a trouble maker, though deep down it's evident that she really does care about the other characters. Her trickery begins when she finds out that Belldandy and Keiichi are boyfriend - girlfriend, and decides that they need to fall hopelessly in love with each other. Thus, she comes up with some interesting concoctions, love potions, etc. trying to get the two together, but the potions, of course, don't always turn out how she expects. She is a tall character, with dark skin contrasted by her snowy white hair, which is incredibly long, and wavy, and emerald eyes. She has facial markings by the corners of her eyes in the shapes of triangles.

Skuld is 12 years old, and the youngest of the three sisters (Urd and Belldandy being the others). She is the goddess of the future, and very strong willed along with being a genius. Skuld is in charge of debugging the Yggdrasil mainframe in Heaven, as well as any bugs that happen to appear upon the surface world. She has brown eyes and long black hair along with a temper that never ends. This temper seems to only be held down by her sister, Belldandy, of whom she looks up to immensely. Skuld does need ice cream to regain the energy she looses, but she also enjoys building mechanical devices, and anything that has to do with computers. Like any younger child, she is trusting when it comes to things she is inexperienced in, and this does get her into trouble, but all round she is a 'good kid'.
Peorth
Age: 24 years old.Height: 170 cm.

A goddess, though not a sister to the previously introduced three goddesses, Peorth is called to the scene when Keiichi makes another accidental call to a rival Goddess Relief Agency, and is granted another wish. However, he tells Peorth, who appears to grant that wish, that he is perfectly happy, and needs no wish. Unfortunately, no is not a word she can accept, and neither is a wish that in itself says 'go away!' She decides to stay until he does make a wish, and becomes quite fond of the young college student, though she dislikes all of the other goddesses, Belldandy especially. Peorth is tall, beautiful, and loves to dress scantily, or not at all. She has long brown hair, and looks much like Skuld might when she is older.
Mishima Sayoko
Age: 21 years old.Height: 163 cm.

Sayoko is a beautiful, spoilt, wealthy girl who attends NIT, and has all the male students there worshipping her. However, with the arrival of Belldandy, she suddenly has a rival, and it becomes her goal in life to steal Keiichi away from the goddess. She is in herself an attractive girl, with long black hair, and brown eyes.
Hasegawa Sora

Hasegawa Sora is a younger classmate of Keiichi's at NIT, and a rather shy girl. She has short, brown hair and many freckles. She tends to be clumsy, but sweet, and it's somewhat strange that she is attracted to Aoshima, who wouldn't seem to be her type.

Tamiya is an upperclassman at NIT, and the head of the NIT MCC. He is a giant of a man, with huge muscles, a mustache, black hair, and dark eyes. He is obsessed with perfecting the engines of machines, and testing them to their limits, and often looks to Keiichi to be the driver, which usually doesn't turn out well. But all in all, he has good intentions.
Morisato Megumi
Megumi is Keiichi's younger sister, and has just begun attending the same school as he, Nekomi Institute of Technology or NIT. She is generally gets the impression of being good looking from the mortal characters in the story, though compared to the three goddesses who she unsuspectingly stays with, she is rather ordinary. Her wit is well known however, as she continuously comments upon her brother's relationships with women, jokingly.
Aoshima
Aoshima is a minor character in the Ah! My Goddess anime. He appears once in episode three. He has black hair, and dark brown eyes, and dresses formally. He has a very confident front, though from his actions he must be insecure. He is out to make Belldandy his girlfriend, obviously not knowing the facts about their relationship. Aoshima is a member of a motorcycle racing club to which Keiichi's club is opposed, and he challenges Keiichi's club to a race to fight over the right to Belldandy. Unfortunately, neither Keiichi nor Belldandy are informed of this until the day before the race. Of course, as we all know, Keiichi and Belldandy stay together, which thus means that Aoshima looses, though graciously.
Mara / Marller
Mara takes on the job of making trouble for the other goddess. She appears only in the Manga, and is a demon. At times it seems that she is mistaken for a man, though there is no evident reason other than for a cheep laugh by the readers. Where many villains (if they could be considered such) weren't very successful at their jobs, Mara is quite good at what she does and does cause a great deal of trouble.
Troubador
Troubador was once Urd's lover, long ago. He is also a harp player, and quite good looking on the scale of anime characters. He is a character that also only appears in the manga, and while he may try to be a bard, he seemingly has a terrible voice, though he plays the harp with great skill. When he first appears, Keiichi is still under the influence of one of Urd's mysterious potions, and bears the body of a girl. This situation is only made worse by Troubador's appearance, in short.
