Dialogue Changes

• Heero: "Those who stand before me with the intention of killing me: they're my enemies."--"...intention of killing me" was changed to "...desire to fight me."

• Heero, to Treize: "And I don't give a damn when I do die."--"...don't give a damn" became "...just don't care." Wow, you mean characters are allowed to talk about their own mortality now? There were episodes in the past where they didn't allow that sort of thing (i.e., Duo's line, "This is such a lame way to die," was changed). Perhaps the censors are getting more lax again after being such tight-asses for awhile.

• OZ soldier: "Dammit!"--As usual, this became "Blast it!"

• Treize, to Heero: "There's nothing more noble and beautiful than a warrior with no distractions...one could say that he's the closest thing to God."--"God" was changed to "perfection," because, even though we live in a country with supposed freedom of religion, it's still considered blasphemous for anyone to compare humans to God :P

• Heero, in reply to above quote: "I don't believe in God."--This time, "God" was changed to "that." Ugh, this pisses me off. Why are characters not allowed to talk about what they do (or don't) believe? It's not like all the kids watching are going to say, "Heero doesn't believe in God? Well, then I don't either! Come on, let's go burn down some churches!" Heero's character is in no way intended to be any kind of role model for anyone, so there's really no need to take away his non-beliefs.

• Treize: "Heero, I won't permit you to die until you've killed me first."--I'm sure you all can guess that "killed" was changed to "destroyed."

• OZ soldier: "Dammit, there's no end to their numbers."--"Dammit" became "Oh, man."
