Ahh, poor Duo...he has such a hard time in this episode. Not only does he have lots of bad stuff happen to him, but he gets a bunch of crappy dialogue changes thrown at him, too :P

Dialogue Changes

• Lady Une, about Duo: "If there's a chance people might sympathize with him, kill him."--"Kill" became "silence" in this case. Ooh, something different...as my fiance would say, "whoop-dee-shit" :P

• Duo: "It's quite an honor to be greeted with your latest model, but let me warn you that anyone carelessly approaching is GONNA DIE!"--"Die" became "get it", because death threats are eeeevil :P And I don't care what people say about Scott McNeil's Duo, I think he does an incredible job at lines like this. He's so convincing, I almost feel threatened, like he's talking to me (Man, that sounds like one sick fangirl fantasy..."He's threatening me, he's actually threatening me!" Actually...it sounds like Relena...well, makes sense :P).

• Duo: "Tag along...on my journey into Hell!"--The evil "H-E-double hockey sticks" word was changed to "darkness." Ahh, another classic Duo line butchered in the cut version :P

• Duo: "Damn all of you to hell!"--This was completely changed in the cut version to, "I'll make you regret this!" Well, that probably sounds better than if they had tried to simply change a couple words and make it "Darn all of you to heck!" That would have been completely lame :P

• Duo, to Heero: "If I'm gonna die, it'd seem appropriate for you to do it."--The first part of this sentence became "If this is the end." Oh no, not another nonsense dialogue change...I thought it was alright to use "die" as long as it wasn't used as a threat against others...Duo's not threatening anyone, editors! He's simply making a statement...I guess it's not OK for kids to see someone accepting their fate :P Of course, Heero doesn't even shoot him, anyway (Aww, a fine moment for us 1x2 believers ^_^), so I don't see what their problem was this time.

• Heero, to Duo: "I came here so I could kill you."--This resulted in the default dialogue change of "kill" to "destroy" (What am I, a computer program now?). Heh heh, Heero may be threatening Duo here, but we all know he ends up rescuing him instead ^o^

• OZ soldier: "Dammit...and what about the Gundams?"--Another default dialogue change, "dammit" became "blast it."

• Heero, about the scientists: "I'll kill them all."--Default, I repeat, default...you know what I mean. And don't you just love how appreciative Heero is of those who made his Gundam?

Cuts

• 3 sec.: Soldiers caught in explosions. This is a cut which will become increasingly more common as the series goes on. This episode had two of them, one 2 sec. and the other 1 sec.
