Ahhh, here we go with the second part of Gundam Wing. You know what that means? You won't have to listen to my complaints about Relena for the next 10 or so episodes becuase she doesn't appear in them! Woo hoo! *Ahem* On with the comparison ^_^;;

Dialogue Changes

• Duo: "Dammit!"--This, as usual, was replaced with a "blast it." Poor Duo-chan, he gets more dialogue changes than anyone else for his potty mouth :P

Edits

• Originally, there is a shot of Quatre where he wipes away a stream of blood coming down his face. In the cut version he wipes away...nothing :P "Damn flies, get out of my dearest Sandrock!" ^_^;;

Cuts

• 23 sec.: Lady Une holding a gun to Professor G's head. This cut is the second longest in the entire series, and it actually consists of two seperate cuts: The first one is only a second when it shows Lady Une actually bringing the gun up to his head. She then says "Were you the one who built the Gundams?" and the 22 seconds after that are cut when he talks with the gun still pointing at his head. This cut leaves some important details out of the cut version, such as how Big-nosed Mushroom Man (otherwise known as Prof. G ^_^;;) explains that he only built the Deathscythe, and that the other Gundams were built by other scientists. Also, I think it's stupid that in other episodes they show people actually getting shot, but they can't show someone getting a gun held to their head, even if they don't get shot...I've even seen old Looney Tunes cartoons where characters had guns pointing into their mouths, and apparently that was OK, but this is not. The stupid editors are taking huge steps backwards, I tell ya...

In General

• "How'd they get away with that?" Ooh, there was another little case of negligent editing today...Notice how in the "next episode preview" that there is a shot where Zechs has blood running down his face. Ha ha, stupid editors can't shield us from reality forever! (What is it with me and "stupid editors" today, anyway?)

• As I said earlier, there's a really clear shift of focus in this episode. Seriously, when I first got this tape from a friend, I thought she had accidently skipped over some episodes and given me the wrong tape :P But anyway, this is kind of a strange episode: we meet Lady Une's other personality for the first time, and then there's the freaky part where Quatre's Sandrock seems to have a mind of it's own...that part's always freaked me out o_O;; But all the weirdness is forgiven when I remember the fact that Relena doesn't disgrace us with her presence for several more episodes ^_^
