Dialogue Changes

Geez, this episode was the busiest one so far concerning dialogue changes...when Relena was talking to those colony guys, there were three within 30 seconds of each other!

• Lady Une, talking about Relena to some soldiers: "Go after the girl, and kill her if she tries to resist."--"Kill" became "eliminate" in this case.

• Colony guy, about what Lady Une said on TV: "Dammit! They're making us out to be a bunch of terrorists!"--The first part was changed to "curse it" o_O Well, that's....different

• Relena, to colony guys: "OZ is responsible for killing my father, right?"--"Killing my father" became "the death of my father." Hmm, they actually replaced "kill" with "death." I don't see how this change makes the line any less "disturbing" or "damaging" or whatever they consider the word "kill" to be...

• Colony guy, to Relena: "Don't be stupid...you'll end up getting killed."--"Killed" became "destroyed."

• Relena, in reply to the above quote: "I don't care if I do get killed."--Once again, "killed" became "destroyed."

• Zechs, talking about Mr. Darlian: "I believe he was killed."--"Killed" became "destroyed" again.

• Relena, to Dr. J: "How in the world could killing someone possibly lead us to peace?"--"Killing someone" became "an all out war." Hmmm, actually, I think I like the cut version of this quote better...it just sounds cooler ^_^

• Duo, to Heero: "Damn you! I'll get you back..."--The first part became "curse you!"

Edits

• (During the flashback of the original Heero Yuy's death) Bullet, hole in jacket where bullet went through: Well, this one was tough to catch...Because of the crappy quality of some of my fansubs, I didn't even notice this in the first place while watching my originals; it's something I never saw until I watched the uncut English dub. During the flashback of the original Heero Yuy's assassanation, there is a still shot of when he is shot. (Augh! Too many "shots" in that sentence ^_^;;). You can see a hole in the front of his jacket and a bullet that has obviously just gone through him. In the cut version, both of these things are gone.
