So,you want to know the basics...

Basics and Tactics

Okay, I am going to teach you the basic terms and the honor guideline. Rules are too strict and having a judge down your back can be annoying so this is what most people use. I am not the official spokesman for Role-fighting so you don't have to follow these religiosly. But at least try them and you will see that battle will be alot smoother and less complex. So let's get started.

The key here is IMAGINATION. Without imagination there IS no fight for the moves come from your head. Then the next step is to take that move, that same move, and write as accurately as you can that move in text.
This is NOT difficult but does take practice. If you have ever written a story or a pem then this will be a piece of cake. You basically must take the power of your imagination and transfer it to the mind of another. With paitience and practice you could master this teqnique.

Here specification is also the key. The better you describe your move the better and more neat the move gets. This is so the "painting" you are drawing is seen by the guy on the other side.
Example: *John stares at Steve, watching him closely. He runs at Steve with his hand clenched into a fist and as soon as he is near he punches him in the jaw and follows with an uppercut with his other arm*
Do you see the way it is described? It is exactly as I thought it and (hopefully) it will be understood by my opponent. (My name ain't John by the way ;) ) Now it is Steve's turn to block avoid or evade that move but I will get to that later. A punch is a simple move so it doesnt take much effort to specify unless it has some effect. You could also say that it was a slow and heavy punch.A fast and strong punch. A swift jab. It doesnt matter as long as you specify correctly.

Specification. It is VERY important! I have seen fighters bore people to death beacause there moves are weak or they were strong...but didnt look like it.I t has happened to me varios times and i dont want it to happen to you so please do it right.

Role-Fighting Guidelines:All games must have some type of limits, but you shouldn't let them stop you. The guidelines of Rolefighting are here, a type of honor code and basic form that fighting is followed. There are many different types, but here is one of them. (Guidlelines thankfully done by Number 18; With slight modification by Galford)

Weapons: Learn about the power of weapons, how to use them and possible weaknesses to help you survive in battle.

Magic:
I hope I have tought you something. Basically all this is is using your imagination and writing it on a canvas. Making others feel what your thinking. I made this page for those who want to Role-fight. If you dont like it or are not interested in it then dont role-fight. I aint forcing anyone. These guidelines were made by 18 and are there for letting the fight be a little more controlloed and organized. Again you dont have to go by these rules. But dont come crying when he cheats. All in all, remember that this is here so you can have fun. Yes fun...it doesnt have to be complicated or anything. It's your call. I hope I helped a little in your image of Role-Fighting.
