Abstract: Excel Saga, the
brain child of the manga artist Rikudo Koshi, has been animated into a totally
zany anime in which all facets of modern Japanese pop culture are poked, laughed
at, and parodied. In this document we will examine some simple aspects of this
crazy mess in specifics. We concluded that Excel Saga, though not for everyone,
is one of the most excellent piece of animated works ever produced in the realm
of anime. Inadvertently we may also gauge the degree of Watanbe Shinichi's insaneness
with this study, since we can't find a way to help it. You wiggit?
