About me
My name is César Rodríguez. I’m a 20 year old Computer Engineering student of the University of Puerto Rico in Mayagüez. I’m in love with my beautiful girlfriend Jennifer. I was born in San Antonio, Texas. I’m currently living in Sierra Bayamon, Puerto Rico but most of the time I’m in my apartment in Mayaguez.
Love
In life there are different kinds of love. The love you feel for your family, the love you feel for your friends,
and the love you feel for that special someone. I’m part of a 6 member family. My brothers are Joseph (Ale) and
Christian (ET). My sister is called Mayra but we call her
mayrita
since my mom is called the same. My parents are
Mayra and Joseph. In addition I have a huge extended family that’s always united and always care for each other.
The love of my life is called Jennifer.
She is the most beautiful and inspiring person I’ve ever met. What I love about her is her sentimental beeing, her ability
to stand out when others don’t know what to do, the way she makes me feel every day, and the list goes on and on...
My best friends are my brothers and my girlfriend.
Computers
My interest in computers started since I was in middle school. First I wanted to be an Electronic Engineer. As I grew
up and started learning more about computers my passion for studying computer grew. Computers are the future. The let
us access information and communicate with people all around the world. It is incredible how with a single click you
can join people all around the world and share information that we were never capable of sharing before. I think the
main purpose of computers is to share. Whether you are making a project or buying something from an e-commerce site you
know you will be sharing information. This brings us to the issue of privacy. Although privacy is necessary many times
by us, computers were not designed with the purpose of keeping information private. Instead, they were designed to provide
and share information among users. This is an important mismatch and is the core issue in the study of computer security.
To me, it is exciting to be part of this amazing era of information. What I really like about computers is that they give
me the ability to create without bounds or limitations.
Music
I’m as passionate about music as I am for computers. Music is the most beautiful art of expression in the world. Music
communicates emotion, passion and feelings. I respect all kinds of music even if I don’t like it. I’ve been playing guitar
since 2000. I’ve been in two bands:
Life After Death
(hardcore) and For the Wounded
(math/metal). My favorite
artists and bands include: Dillinger Escape Plan, Into the Moat, Underminded, almost all of Puerto Rico underground
metal/hardcore scene bands, Tito Puente, Hector Lavoe,
Ruben Blades, Eddie Palmieri, Juan Luis Guerra, etc...
