The great advancement in the computers technology was new to me because I didn't have the advandage to study any formal course of this type. I have to study hard and auto-educate to keep up with the demand of this technology and to maintain my position as a Hydrologist with the U.S. Geological Survey, Water Resources Division in the island of Puerto Rico.
In the next link I express my feelings about what to consider if you
are upgrading any of the windows programs. Please click on next link:
I got my first computer early on 1980, an IBM PCJR
It had no hard disk and only two floppies drives. A pain in the neck because it was kind of slow.
I got my cool second computer on July 2000 running at 233mhz! Even still slow,
to work with!
I got my third computer running at 450mhz!
At that time, I used to surf the net a little faster off of rush hours!
Actually I have two computers, one with XP Home Edition Operating System and another one a Media Center PC running on XP Professional.
Now my web pages look professional, cool, and clean, and much better to work with!
