Dear Mr. Nielson, I am writing on behalf of Mr. Timothy J. Leon, C29681. I had met Tim while he was incarcerated at Avenal and have kept informed through his friend Alan Doswald. While Tim's crime was a terrible one, I do not think he is now a danger to our society. Tim has a lot going for him -- the support of his mother, a place to live either in Madera or Fresno County, friends and other family members for encouragement and help, and computer skills thanks to CDC.
