During the operating era of Fayette, the single men that did not live at the Shelton Hotel lived at the boarding house on this site. To be honest, the footprint left here looks really small in person. I had a hard time imagining a full fledged boarding house was here. It seemed to be more along the size of a small one person home. But the plaque you see in front of the foundations did show what the house looked like and it looked at least moderately sized. |
