This is a company supervisor home situated across the street from the town hall building. Today it houses several displays depicting the life of village children in the late 1800's.
A cabinet in the house displaying toys and games of the era.
The village school is long gone, but this room displays what items might have been in it. In addition to these desks, the room also has copies of the primers that children learned to read from.
A print on the wall of the house that is entitled "Little Manly." I'm sorry, I need to let my late 20th century sensiblities show here and say that little blue boy here is the antithesis of manly.:) The weird angle of the photo is in order to avoid glare from the protective glass.
