Copper Harbor Area

This is the northernmost town (not quite sure I can call it a city) in Michigan. Summer months bring throngs of tourists (as well as bugs) and winter months bring a steady stream of snowmobilers. Here are photos from my trips there.

Atop Brockway Mountain part 1
Driving up to the top of Brockway is manditory for any serious fall color tour. I've been told that the lake that is down there is Lake Medora, I'll bet its got some good fishing.

Atop Brockway Mountain part 2
This one is taken looking in roughly a western direction, with Lake Superior to the right.

Atop Brockway Mountain part 3
In this photo, you are looking down into the valley south of Brockway, facing in an easterly direction.

Atop Brockway Mountain part 4
This one is taken looking in roughly a western direction, with Lake Superior to the right. As you can tell, this basically the same view as part 2, but on a different (and more cloudy) day.

While visiting the Copper Harbor Lighthouse I noticed this ore boat out on the horizon. I just wish it got closer so I could have made out the name.

There's still more to see on Page 2.
