Mt Moon

    In Mt. Moon you'll first meet team rocket, along with a few other regular trainers.  There are many trasures here also.  Be sure to search off the main path for the little Pokeball things on the ground.  There are 2 potions, a rare candy, an escape rope, a moon stone, an HP UP, and TMs 12 and 1.   Also you can catch several different Pokemon here in both ames such as Zubat, Geodude, Paras, and Clefairy.  At the and of the cave you'll have to choose from two fossils, the Helix fossil and the Dome fossil.  You can ude these later to revive extinct Pokemon.

Route 4

    Like all routes it's just a junction between two areas.   However, once you pass through this route you'll be trapped in Cerulean City until you defeat Misty.  There is a TM4 you can get here in the little Pokeball thing.   In this area you can catch Rattatas and Spearows in both games, however there are Sandshrew in the Blue game only and Ekans in the Red game only. 

Once you leave to the left side you'll be in Cerulean City.
