Chapter 1: The Second Encounter with the Samaruai.

{This takes place after Ash defeats Brock and he joins them}
(Now that Ash has defeated Brock and Brock has joined them, Ash, Misty, and Brock set out to catch evenmore pokemon.)

[They go south . Then they reach a cave. They start to wonder what it is.]

Ash: What is this place. A cave?

[Brock walks up to a little flyer hanging on the cave. He starts to read.]

Brock: This is Diglett's Cave. Maybe we should check it out.

[Misty looks frightened]

Misty: No way! I'm not going in there! Who knows what's in there! There could be...bugs! And even worse, bad guys!

[Ash starts to laugh. Then Misty smacks him in his head. Ash falls flat on his face.]

Misty: Ha! That'll teach you to mess with me!

[Ash recovers, and gets up.]

Ash: C'mon, Misty! It can't be THAT bad in the cave. Besides, it sounds like the only pokemon that'll be in there are Digletts.

[Brock faces Ash]

Brock: Actually, there might be more than just Digletts in there. They might have  Dugtrio, the 51st pokemon. Also Digletts evolved form. They're pretty rare, and hard catch.

[Misty looks releaved]

Misty: *Whoo!* Man am I glad that those are the only pokemon in there.

Brock: Well, I might be wrong. There might be some other pokemon.

Ash: C'mon! Lets go!

[Ash runs in the cave. Brock turns to Misty]

Brock: Lets go Misty.

[Brock runs into the cave. Misty follows. Misty soon catches up with Ash & Brock. Ash has a large smile on his face. They spend a while just walking in the cave, when the come across a treasure chest.]

Ash: Whoa! A treasure chest! Lets see what's in it!

Brock: i don't know Ash, it could be a bobby-trap.

Misty: Oh, Brock. I doubt it's a bobby-trap.

[Ash kneels down and pops the trunk open. Then Ash sees the floor crumbling.  Then the floor beneath them crumbles completely. Then they all fall through the huge hole. The land on a pile of hay, grass, & dirt. They sit up & look around. And see a small figure. It looks to be human. And then something weird weird happens. The figure charges them.]

Figure: Yaaaahhhhhh!!!!!

[Ash looks firghtened. He sees the figure has something long, thin, and shiny in his hand. It's a sword!  The figure slahses the hay & grass on the floor. Ash ruto the send of the room. He sees the Figure stop, & turn around. He stops. Ash sees a red button on the wall and huts it. Lights turn on. Ash, Brock, & Misty soon see that it's the Samaruai they faced earlier! Ash starts to speak to the Samaruai.]

Ash: It's you!

Samaruai: Yes! I want revenge!

Ash: But why!?

Samaruai: Because...after I lost to you, and you and your friends left, I got up and left. When I got home, my mother and father noticed the cuts and bruises on me. My father instantly knew that I lost a battle.  They shuned me for a week. I asked for forgivness. My father said the only way I could get his forgivness, was to beat you in a re-match. So I must fight! Go  Primeape!

[Primeape rushes froward]

Ash: I chose you! Pikachu!

[Pikachu also rushes forward]

Samaruai: Primeape, scratch attack!

[Primeape scratches Pikachu]

Brock & Misty: Oh no!

[Pikachu falls to the ground and rolls a few times. He soon gets up & on his feet]

Ash: Pikachu, Quick attack!

[Pikachu does the quick attack on Primape. It dosen't hurt Primeape a whole lot]

Samaruai: Primaape, seismic toss!

[Primeape runs at Pikachu. He stops and picks Pikachu up. Primeape jumps into the air & throws Pikachu. Pikachu hits the ground like a ton of bricks. Pikachu is effected greatly.]

Ash: Pikachu!!!

Samaruai: Ha! Your Pikachu is no match for my Primeape!

Ash: Pikachu! Get up! PIkachu!!!

Pikachu: Pika...

[Ash turns to Brock]

Ash: Brock, do you have a super potion!?

[Brock checks his pockets]

Brock: Yea! Here!

[Brock throws a super potion over to Ash. Ash runs to Pikachu and sprays it on him]

Samaruai: Hey! That's not fair!

Misty: No it's not. There's nothing in the Official Pokemon League Rule Book that bands the use of health items to recover a pokemon's health! 

Brock: She's right.

Misty: Thank you Brock.

[Pikachu seems better. He gets up]

Ash: Okay Pikachu, thunder shock!

Pikachu: Pika...chu!!!

[Electrical bolts come flying out of Pikachu and they hit Primeape. Primeape flys back. he's knocked out. Ash has a HUGE grin on his face. So does Brock. Misty is jumping up and down, cheering for Ash and Pikachu. Samaruai has a HUGE frown on his face. He bends his head down and starts to cry.]

Samaruai: Whhhaaaa!!!

Ash: What's wrong?

Samaruai: Well, if I don't get proof that I beat you, witch I didn't, my father will kill me!

Ash: Oh...

[Ash gets an idea. He reaches into his backpack and pulls out a pen and paper. He starts to scribble on the paper. He walks over to Samaruai.]

Ash: Here! Show this to your mom and dad!

[Here's what the letter read.]

     Dear Mother and Father of Samaruai,
   Your son, Samaurai, has beaten me, Ash Catchem, and my pokemon, Pikachu.
He beat me really bad. There is no need to kill him. I'm bleeding to
death!!!
                                                                       Sign,

Ash Catchem
==============================================================

Samaruai: Thanks! Know my father won't kill me!

Ash: Well, that's good.

Samaruai: Well, I don't kno how to re-pay you....

Brock: No need!

Samaruai: Well, okay. I hafta go! Bye!

Ash, Brock, Misty: Bye, Samaruai!

(So, that's the end of chapter 1. Ash finally did something nice, free-of-charge. In fact, he save Samaruai's life)
