RAR Archiver (.rar, .r00, .r01 ...)
Windows Mac Linux
RAR Archiver is a program that can be used to compress and store a single file across multiple files. AFI and other sites use this tool to make episodes easier to download. To be able to watch the episodes available on AFI you need to first download all the parts of an episode (.rar, .r01, .r02 ...) and then extract the episode using the RAR Archiver program, available at the links above.

SFV - Simple File Validation (.sfv)
Windows Mac Linux
SFV is a way of checking that your downloads don't have any errors in them. If you get an error when you try to extract an episode then use the above tools along with the CRC check files provided by AFI to work out which file has the error in it. You can then redownload the file and, if that doesn't work, then notify us that our upload has errors in it.
