The first image from one of the Grimm's fairy tales "The Fitcher's Bird" that inspired me to select this story as my project. I'm not so surprised that not so many people have ever heard this story since the contents is so extreme for children. In my opinion, it describes so much details, especially in the killing scenes. However, because of such the extreme contents, that why I chose it. It's always my passion to death that drove me to do many artworks. Sounds insane, but it's true. For me, death is a part of life and it is something to be adored, not afraid (Note : I'm not saying that people should strive to die or killing other people is good. I'm saying that people should not be afraid of death when they have to face it and death is something that reminds us about the beauty and value of life.) |
