This is the sketch of the original design that I did for Dark Joker ,one of the character in a card game. Those who have seen the latest product of Chroma Atelier , the CG CD named "Maple" , might recognized this character already.

Originally I designed Dark Joker to be pretty much like a spectral being. If you look at the chest in this version, you will see that it is nothing but sternum and ribs, with the glowing light inside the rib cage.After that, the request was stated that this character supposed to have a complete physical body. Of course, I have to redesigned. So I learned that it is important to have a clear description of what we are going to draw first. =)
