Making Sense of Japanese: What the Textbooks Don't Tell You is written by Jay Rubin, former professor of Japanese Literature at the University of Washington, and is published by Kodansha International, copyright 1992. This book was formerly available under the more intriguing title Gone Fishin': New Angles on Perenial Problems. I highly recommend this book for all intermediate- or higher students of Japanese. It has been one of the most helpful books I have ever read. Although this book has been difficult to come by for some time, I understand that it is now readily available under the new title. I wholeheartedly recommend buying a copy. To return, press back on your browser. |
