SGA Retreats can be fun

WCU Japanese Animation Society

Western Carolina University is one of the 16 schools of the UNC System. I went there for little over four years and did a lot of activities while there. I was a radio DJ, Founder and President of the Japanese Animation Society, Senator/Rules Committee Chairman/Vice-President Pro Tempore/Superior Judge in the Student Government Association, WCU Representative at the University of North Carolina Association of Student Governments, Member in the Kappa Lambda Chapter of Phi Beta Lambda, Member of the International Business Club, and other miscellaneous stuff that I can't seem to remember. To say the least, I was active.

I also had two different campus jobs while at WCU. The first of a temporary job as a Computer Lab Assistant in the College of Business. My second job was Resident Assistant for Housing for a Semester. Though both didn't really last too long, I enjoyed both and except them as a learning experience.

The first two pictures are from a SGA retreat I took part in. We had a very good time together in Asheville, and I even one a drinking game (I'm not going to explain that though). The third picture is me with the members of the Japanese Animation Society. Some of the people there were also students from UNC-Asheville who had to come since they lacked a Japanese Anime Club of there own. I'm proud to say that the WCU Japanese Animation Society is the biggest and most influential club in Western North Carolina (of course, it is the only Anime Club west of Charlotte in North Carolina).

I graduated in December of 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in International Business, with a double major in Management. It sounds impressive, but it's just a long title.
