She stood in the rain. Her unbrella lying forgotten in the gazebo. All she could see was his retreating back growing ever smaller as he ran into the horizon. All she could think about was his final words. "It's over".

The rain carressed her cheeck as it fell down in tiny rivulets, and combined with her crystyline tears. Then it stopped. In surprise she looked up. It was Ken. Once she realized it was him she hung her head down in shame, while he gazed out into the horizon and watched the figure dissaper into the misty rain.

"Check that guy out guys!! Isn't he just to cute?! He reminds me of my old boyfriend!" Makoto said as she gazed at a geourgeous guy walk by. Everyone face faulted.

"Makoto!!!" said a laughing Serena. "You really should get over your boy craziness!!!"

"Your one to talk Usagi! Aren't you the one with the crush on Andrew and Tuxedo Mask?" said a mocking Rei.

"REI!!! Why are you so mean to me???" said a whining Usagi.

"Your just so annoying Usagi!! That's why!!"

"Your MEAN!!!!" Usagi screamed at Rei and stuck her toungue out at her. Rei counter attacked and stuck her toungue right back out. The others hung there head down at the issuing toungue war.

No one noticed Makoto in the background. If any one did they would have noticed a sullen looking girl. Someone with a torn soul, blinking back her tears.

Makoto lay on her bed and gazed at the silent empty sky. Even the stars were hiding themselves this gloomy day. The house was quite and empty. Silent. In her hands she cluctched a framed picture. The only one she had of her parents and her together. She was 12. Who knew in a few short years they would be killed in a terrible accident.

She wished her mom was there to comfort her now. Ever since their death, she had been turning to guys to try and get some comfort. To have someone love her. But they all turned wrong. None of the relationships ever lasted long. She was alone. Sure she had her friends, and being a scout was something she wouldn't give up in a million years. Yet part of her always being always remained empty.

Forcing herself to be strong, she tucked the framed picture underneth her pillow. And cried herself to sleep.

Makoto was walking home from a horrible day of school. Due to insomnia and nightmares when she did get to sleep, she was totally out of it for the whole day. Even bubbly Usagi couldn't crack a amile out of her. When she asked what was wrong Makoto brushed her off saying she had a bad's night sleep.

Trying to shake off her depression, Makoto decided to take the senic route home. All of a sudden she heard screaming. Running accross the street and into the nerby park she saw Ken. He was in trouble.

A huge Cardian had attacked Ken and his sister. A pink lion with a wheel was sucking energy from Ken, and his sister. Both were lying unconcious on the floor.

Glaring in hatred, Makoto grasped her Henshin wand and yelled "JUPITER POWER MAKE UP!!!". Swirls of electricty surged around her filling her with enerygy. She could feel the oncoming rush of adreniline and power being a senshi gave her. Electricty filled her blood, strength flowed through her system, and with a sudden surge, she came out of her transformation with her trademark pose.

On the floor Ken flickered his eyes in shock as recognition came over him. "Makoto??" he wheezed before going unconcious.

Skipping all formalities of a speech, she launched into her attack. "YOU WILL PAY!!" she screamed at the lion. Crossing her arms at her chest an attene raised out of her tiara. Bowing her head down she gathered all the stored electricty in her body. The attene picked up the surge of electricty. Gathering it to its macimum strength, she let it go with a yell. "SUPREME THUNDER CRASH!!!!!!"

The lion was blasted clear accross the ground and slammed into a nerby tree trunck. It lifted itself onto its paws and roared. No one does that to him. NO ONE!! He was ready to pounce at the senchi, when all of a sudden he was distracted.

"OVER HERE!!!" 3 figures where standing in the dark shadows back to back. "That's right! You heard us! You've met our good friend Jupiter. Now it's time to meet the rest of us!" They jumped out of the shadows one by one. Each yelling out their name.

"SAILOR MARS!!"

"SAILOR MERCURY!!"

"AND SAILOR MOON!! In the name of the moon we will punish you!!"

The lion growles as an answer and launched himself into the air.

"Where did he go??" Mars yelled. Sailor Moon, Mercury, Mars and Jupiter, all scanned the sky. Jupiter could sense something coming towards them. She launched herself to the ground and rolled out of the way. The other scouts weren't as lucky however. The lion landed on the 3 scouts and began to suck their energy with a glowing wheel.

The scouts squirmed and screamed in vain trying to break free. But they got weaker and weaker as the energy was drained from them. "NO!!! You will not harm them!" Jupiter yelled. The lion payed no attention to the lone sailor.

Screaming in utter fury. Jupiter ran at the lioon and slammed herself into this body knocking him off the scouts. However it was already to late. The scouts had been nearly drained completely. Sailor Moon managed to flutter her eyes open slightly and gave a soft smile to Jupiter. "Beat the stuffing out of him for us." Sailor Moon whispered before conking out.

Eyes wet with tears, Jupiter taunted at the lion. "Your not afraid of a lone senshi now are you?" she growled. "Come and get it".

As his answer the lion launced himself at her. And landed squarely on her chest pinning her to the ground. Jupiter yelped in pain. The lion brought forth his glowing wheel and began to drain energy from teh scout. "OH NO YOU DON'T!!" Jupiter yelled.

Brining every once of her strength. Jupiter placed her hands onto the lion's chest. With fierce determination she brought her hands back, then slammed them back into the lion's chest with a surge of electrity. She knocked the lion off of her and he lay stunned for a moment on the floor.

Jupiter saw her chance. "SUPREME THUNDER CRASH!!" Jupiter slammed the attack into the glowing wheel before it could dissapear destroying it. The energy was realeased and the scouts got their full powers back.

Before the lion could recover, Sailor Moon brought out her scpeter. "MOON SCPTER ANNIALATION!!!" Sailor Moon screamed out. Dusting the Cardian.

The scouts looked at each other and smiled. Chalk another one up for the Sailor Scouts.

In the hospital Makoto was laying down. She was a bit tired. She had just had some blood taken from her in order to help Ken. She smiled softly as she looked down onto his smiling face. Ken... He's always been there for me. Every since the plane crash.

Eyes shining with love she kissed him gently on his cheeck. Ken's eyes fluttered open. "Makoto??" he whispered.

"KEN?! Your awake!! I'll go get the doctor!!" Makoto turned and began to rush off. Ken grabbed her wrist.

"NO! Please wait a sec. I have something to tell you first." Ken looked up at Makoto.

"Yes?" Lita said looking at him softly. "What is it Ken."

"Thank you for saving my life. I really aprecaite it." He said with deep feeling.

"Oh the blood? Ken I was happy to help. But I think now I really need to get the doc.." Makoto was stopped in midsentence. Ken placed his other hand on her lips stopping her. While the one holding her wrist, shifted down to hold her hand. Makoto blushed.

"There's more. I love you Sailor Jupiter." Ken whispered.

"What?! How did you......" Makoto stammered.

"Ssssh." Ken stopped her again. "I saw you transform." Ken pulled Makoto down and gave her a deep kiss.

Makoto cried crystiline tears in his arms. This time they were of happiness.
