Thanks to the folks at Miramax, Team Ghiblink got confirmation of the
oft-referred-to "top 20 markets" that Princess Mononoke will be showing in
on opening day.

Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Houston,
Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Portland
(Oregon), St. Louis, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle,
Washington DC

"Trailers will go up in these cities at varying times within the next
 two weeks."

The trailer is currently showing at the Egyptian Theater in Seattle, as
well as a few others...so some of the other cities on the list may have
the trailer airing as well.
