In another article (Houchi), Mr. Tokuma said that in future, he would like to have Miyazaki-San and Takahata-San movies with 10 billion yen budget each. ^^; He is known to be a big mouth, so don't take him seriously, though. Other things the Houchi article said were: (Please note: Houchi can not be fully trusted. So take them with a grain of salt.) -Vice President Al Gore is coming to the US Premiere of MH. (Mr.Suzuki said that Disney is *trying* to get Al Gore, so I'm not really sure if he is really coming, or it is still in the planning stage. But at least we know that Clintons are not coming.) -The US release of Yamada-Kun has been "inofficially" decided. -There will be a meeting of Disney people at Orland this spring, and they are going to show the subed version of Yamada-Kun (the incomplete version, of course). -There will be French and German versions of MH. -Miramax hasn't been decided on the English title of MH. The candidates are: "Princess of the Forest", "Princess of Mononoke (sic)", "Legend of Ashitaka". There have been some opinions inside Miramax that the word "Princess" might be misleading, as Americans would assume that the movie is for kids. Ryo
