Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon
B ishoujo Senshi Sailormoon was originaly a comic
book distributed in Japan. Storyline:
The progenitor of BSSM is manga called
Sailor V, also produced by Naoko Takeuchi, in which Sailor Venus
played main role. In BSSM, autors gave her position of one of
Sailormoon's four sidekicks. After this comic won Kodansha award
for best manga, Japan animators started working on Anime version,
which, thanx to it's popularity and money income, became very attractive to the
distributors in west states, such as USA, Germany, French, Russia (i'd like to see this one ^-^), Belguim, etc.
Sailormoon had it's first opening in Japan of course. That was in 1992 and lasted for
5 years, lauching it's last episode in February, 97. The Anime version of Sailormoon
is composed of 5 sessions and 3 movies:

Luna & Artemis were sent after her with task to find Usagi and give her some aquipment, including
cresent moon wand - the only weapon that combined with the "ginzuishou" (the Moon
Crystal, also known in the NA dub as Silver Crystal) can destroy Queen Beryl and so
the whole Negaverse. To help Usagi defeat this enemy, she also sent her four trusted
guardians of Moon - Sailor Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Venus and also her beloved
King Endymion. All these relatives (except for Luna & Artemis)
were reborned in future and their memories were erased. First episode of BSSM starts
at this point, showing Usagi's ordinary life problems and ,,romance stories" with one
annoying, but good looking fellow named Mamorou Chiba.
Luna and Usagi met each other
by coincidence, Luna immediately recognize, that she is one of the guardians sworn to
protect the Silver Millenium. Another three senshi are discovered in the next few episodes -
Sailor Mercury, Mars and Jupiter. Together that's four senshi, so Luna
estimated, that the fifth one must be the princess they were sent to search for.
In the meantime, Queen Beryl charged her four generals with task to collect energy
from people of Tokyo, which will be used for overall Queen Metallia. But, of all these
ingredients, the most important was the Silver Crystal, which will appear after seven
Rainbow crystals join. These elements are hidden in bodies of seven life forms. Negaverse' second general, Naphlite, took
responsibility for finding them, but after a few unsuccessful missions, when he succumb
to the human feelings and the Rainbow crystals fell into senshi's hands, Zoisite,
the third general, took his place. One more person is interested in getting the
Rainbow crystals. An elegant attractive man in black tuxedo, who later join with
Sailor Moon and combine his crystals with Sailor Moon's and reveale himself as
Tuxedo Mask. The battle waged, until all seven crystals were extracted.
The fifth Sailor senshi has been found - Sailor Venus. But she also wasn't the princess.
Zoisite menaged to discover Tuxedo's true identity (Mamoru Chiba) and challenged him to a one on
one fight. Unfortunately, Sailor Moon accidentally joined the battle and became
a victim of Zoisite's attack. Tuxedo Mask threw himself in front of her and took the
deadly backstab. Sailor Moon's sorrow under his death magicaly called all the
Rainbow crystals and combined them. The Silver Crystal took position on her cresent moon
wand. Sailor Moon turned into the Moon Princess and possessed the powers of Silver
Crystal. Luna & Artemis finally did it, they have found the princess and awaken her.
Usagi fell unconscious from the exhaustion and Tuxedo's body mysteriously
disappeared...
After Zoisite returned to the briefing room, Queen Beryl's punishment for loosing the Silver Crystal and awaking the princess, was
death.
The fourth, last, most powerful (and my favourite) general was Malachite. This
guy is like a cold fireball. His attacks are destructive and brutal, his object is
not to please queen Beryl, nor getting the Silver Crystal. The only thing he's
interested in, is revenge. Revenge to the Inners and to Queen Beryl herself.
So anyway, Tuxedo Mask was brought to Negaverse, where Queen Beryl brainwashed him,
because she envied Neo-Queen Serenity her lover - King Endymion. She knew
Tuxedo Mask is the revived prince, that was sent into the future and wanted him as
her personal lover and guardian. She charged Malachite with duty to watch over
prince Endymion and report any sign of treachery againts Negaverse.
In the next few apisodes, Inners ecounter the handsome fighter, who was defending
them all the time (only this time, he's throwing not red, but black roses)
He is apparently on the side of Negaverse, but not getting in any direct fight
with Sailor Moon...yet.
Next couple of episodes are basicly about the same. The storyline culminate, when Inners
find out, that the location of Negaverse base is on the North Pole. Inner Senshi prepared
for their first and only strike against Negaverse, that will hopefuly bring victory and
Prince Endymion on their side.
The first encounter with queen Beryl's special forces ended up like nightmare. Makoto,
Ami, Minako and Rei. All four of them died protecting Usagi, who made it to Beryl's
chambers. King Endymion attacked Sailor Moon with his sword, but 
a locket that he once gave
to Usagi, menaged to retrieve his memories. Queen Beryl, seeing that she've lost
control over Endymion, imposed the moment of surprise and killed him. After that, she
retreated
and begged before Queen Metallia for power to defeat Sailor Moon. Metallia
reincarnate into her body and went off to fight the princess on her own.
So the final battle is between representatives of good and evil.
I...I can't
describe the process of this battle, that's one thing you have to see with your
own eyes and I'm sure you already have. Most of the moonies must have seen this
battle, it's one of the episodes that you need to see in order to become a real fan
of Sailor Moon and understand why people love this Anime so much.
Results: Queen Beryl/Metallia has been defeated. Sailor seshi and Endymion were
revived and their memories were erased. Again ^,^ Man, this sounds like episode from
Man in Black...So anyway, the ordinary life stream was back in every senshi's heart,
they all forgot, that they ever fought for Usagi, the annoying 14 years old
crybaby (as everyone on Internet calls her) and our planet Earth.
