Manga Trading Card Scans

These are some cool prism trading cards that I got with an FY manga I once bought on eBay.

The prism effects on these cards are really cool. These scans don't really do them justice. That's life, though.

This is a really cool shot of each scout standing with the guardian that she killed.
Um... Okay, it's a really weird shot.

I'm guessing that this was the day that Usagi looked at Chibi-Chibi's head and thought, "Hmmmm... Red."

The interesting thing about these cards is that there's no copyright information or even any text at all on them. Just pictures. The fronts have the prisms, and these are the pictures that are on the back. This is a kawaii group shot.

I gotta admit that I really like the manga look much better than the anime. The girls look and act stronger, more expressive and independant, less... well... silly.
It's easy to tell that the manga was created by a woman and the anime produced almost exclusively by Japanese men.

I also have a small but growing collection of trading cards from several anime series like Magic Knight Rayearth, Revolutionary Girl Utena, and Ranma 1/2. If anyone has any cool anime cards and is interested in trading, please contact me.
