    Rating: ***

    Movie Type: Comedy/Action

A fun-filled movie w/lots of comedy and action. Not a very good storyline, but fun to watch for the heck of it. Not much to look at in this movie, but the characters are funny. Don't watch the sequels to this movie, because the story gets worse, and all the voice actors are different. Hard to get used to. Try watching only this one.

    Description:

  • DNA˛ (T.V.)

    Rating: ***

    Movie Type: Drama/Comedy/Sci-Fi/Soap Opera/Action

A very serious/funny series based on the manga by Shonen-Jump. The T.V. Episodes follow the comic closely, yet, it's not as good as what the manga was. The art is pretty good too.

    Description:

A girl named Karin Aoi comes from the future, to stop the spawning of Junta Momonari's DNA, "The Mega Playboy." Karin tries humorous/sneaky ways to get Junta Momonari's DNA to somehow go back to normal. It seems that each time she attempts to help Junta, she always makes the matters even worse. Based upon the manga by Jump, "DNA˛," this comic was brought out to anime on T.V.

  • Ghost in The Shell

    Rating: ***

    Movie Type: Action/Sci-Fi

Complicated storyline, but good art and action make this movie and great one to watch. I didn't get it that much, and couldn't understand what was going on.

    Description:

    (Not Available)

  • Wings of the Honneamise

    Rating: ***

    Movie Type: Action/Sci-Fi

Somewhat complicated storyline, yet it has great art, and a nice soundtrack. It's another one of those, "Just Watch Them," ones.

    Description:

About a person who strives to become a pilot of space. Etc etc.. (Didn't really pay attention to the story much..)

  • Macross 2 (Movie)

    Rating: ***

    Movie Type: Drama/Sci-Fi/Action/Romance

This movie was an okay one, compared to what Macross Plus was, but it kind of left me bored after all the episodes rolling by. It didn't keep me intact as much as Macross Plus did.

    Description:

An intergalactic war rages on in space, and it looks like a no win battle. A top-notch annoying reporter who always gets his story, is sent up in space to get shots of the war raging on. Accompanied by an expert reporter into space, he is lead into the enemy ship where he happens to find an alien "Emulator," a singer of war. On the way back, his partner dies, and he learns a hard lesson from the man, who explains that you can't always get your story by breaking the rules. Trying to teach the emulator the Earth way of life, he also tries to make her the top of the story in his news reports. She realizes how different earth way is from hers, for he way of life is all war, and no love. Attempting to halt the battle, the two go out and try to save the Earth.

  • Macross Plus (OAV)

    Rating: ****

    Movie Type: Drama/Sci-Fi/Action

Great Show. It has a good storyline and conflict, and very nice art. It keeps you hooked with the soundtrack, and the story. Kind of hard to understand at first, but you start to get it as you watch the rest.

    Description:

Isamu, a pilot sent over to Earth to a training center, meets up with his old highschool friends Guld, and Myung. Myung, being linked with an artificial intelligence she created called "Sharon Apple," suddenly goes haywire. It's all up to Isamu and Guld to somehow stop the Sharon Apple from causing total destruction, and killing Myung.

  • Ruroni Kenshin (T.V.)

    Rating: **

    Movie Type: Action/Drama

It's a good show with nice art, and music. It gets rather dull at times, because it is somewhat the same thing over and over, but it is good. The Opening theme song (Made by the group, "Judy & Mary") made this show popular.

    Description:

During the Meiji Period, a Time of Reform in Japan, a samurai named "Ruroni," was the fiercest fighter out on the battle field. Known for killing many people, he was called "Battosai." Now after a new reform of government, he vows not to kill anyone anymore, because of his title as a mass killer during the war. Now jointed with a pair of new friends that he meets along the way in a little town, he fights warriors who battle against him, and fights against the new government.

  • Dragonball Z (T.V.)

    Rating: *

    Movie Type: Action/Comedy

It's a show with okay art, but it gets very dull. The characters are just staring at the sky when it comes to the really hardcore action parts (Which is almost all the time) And what's worse, it takes 20 episodes to cover half of a part in a manga. Although there are all these bad points, the vocals in the show are good. Funny thing though, they hardly ever mention the dragonball in this show. Only till this show reaches it's last couple episodes, do the dragonballs come into the story at last.

    Description:

Gokou and his friends, now on a new adventure in their adult age, fight against evil that go against them.

  • Dragonball GT (T.V.)

    Rating: **

    Movie Type: Action/Comedy

It's at least a bit better than the remake of Z. It keeps a better story-line, yet somewhat dull again because it's the same thing over. They lose, they win, etc, etc. The art is cool, and the music is okay. At least they don't stare endlessly at their enemies.

    Description:

Gokou, now growing in his old age, is living life wonderfully. Not until one day when he finds his old enemies, Pilaf and his henchmen. Pilaf finally finds the dragonballs hidden inside an isolated home. Gokou happens to stumble into them, but Pilaf, wishes Gokou to become small again! Pilaf says, "I remember you were much easier to catch when you were this little!" And from there, he wishes for Gokou to be little, then they escape. Gokou, thinking this is all great, likes being a little kid! But the Kami-Sama warns him that the Dragonballs had Black stars in the middle. Not Red. Therefore, they were cursed, and if Gokou dosen't find the dragonballs, he and the world will perish! Joined with Trunks (grown-up), and Pan, his grand-daughter (Seen on the Last 2 Episodes of DBZ as a 5-6 year old), they all search out the vast universe for the hidden dragonballs.

  • Gall Force <1> (Movie)

    Rating: **

    Movie Type: Action/Sci-Fi/Comic

It's an okay movie. The music was okay, the art was okay, and the story line was, ehhh, okay. It was overall an average movie. It's one you should watch when you have nothing better to do.

    Description:

It just grows out, killing the person when they are given birth to inside their body. The mysterious ship's objective is to start a new race of people that clone the person they were born from. Trying to fight against this mysterious ship, the crew fights for their lives.

  • Kimagure Orange Road (T.V, OAV, Movie)

    Rating: ***

    Movie Type: Drama/Soap Opera/Comedy/Romance

This is a pretty good series. The main character always seems to get into trouble with all those ninja tricks. It keeps you entertained, with many interesting things he winds up in. The music is great, and the art is pretty good.

    Description:

A Junior in Highschool named Kyosuke, is a descendant of a race of ninja's. He and his family always get him into trouble with their ninja powers. At the same time, when he has enough problems already with his powers, he is in love with a girl/friend named Ayukawa Madoka. Unfortunately, her other friend falls deeply in love with Kyosuke... and there you have it. Kyosuke always finds trouble with the two girls, and trying to keep the hide his secret of having special powers to anyone. (Also using his powers at the same time.)

  • Urusei Yatsura! (T.V, Movie, OAV)

    Rating: ***

    Movie Type: Comedy/Romance

This show is pretty old, but it's a show for almost all ages. It's very funny, yet the main character kind of drives you crazy with all the dumb things he does.

    Description:

A highschool student who was involved with another planet in an olympic event, could have decided the fate of the world. But instead, the alien, "Lum," falls in love with the man who she competed with, and decides to stay on Earth to live with him. This is a story of a funny comedy and somewhat romance betweem this alien and the student.

  • Dr. Slump (T.V.)

    Rating: ***

    Movie Type: Sci-Fi/Comedy

This show is VERY old in Japan, but it's hilarious! I don't ever get tired of watching this show, even though the music and art aren't that great.

    Description:

A cyber-robot named Arale, who is a total screwed up robot, is brought about by a stupid, dumb-witted scientist named Dr. Slump. This is about the hilarious adventures of their screwed up town of "Penguin Village," and the adventures of Arale and Dr.Slump. In one episode of Dragonball, Gokou visited Penguin Village, and Arale helped fight his enemy. I heard it was a hilarious episode. This is a must-watch show, even though it's old. It's funny!

  • Sailormoon (T.V, Movie)

    Rating: *

    Movie Type: Comedy/Romance/Action

This show got me hooked for a little while, because of it's awesome music and art. But after watching continuing episodes forever, I got pretty bored. This show is for little kids in Japan, so obviously it was probably meant to be that way. A manga came out for this show, but I have no idea what it's like.

    Description:

A girl named Usagi Tsukino finds out that she is a descendant of the moon queen and the people. She fights evil with her moon powers, along side with many other girls whom are descendants of their planet/people. But what makes this story even more complex, is the fact that there is Earth Prince named Tuxedo Kamen. He was supposed to have married Tsukino many eons ago. But now reborn on earth, the sailors find out about their mysterious pasts. They all fight evil wherever it lurks.

  • Appleseed (Movie)

    Rating: **

    Movie Type: Action/Drama

This movie was an okay one. But it seems like it lasted forever! (Kind of like Macross 2 Movie), but it did keep me entertained. It's an okay one to watch.

    Description:

A SWAT Team in the future of Earth. (Fully Unavailable)

  • Crayon Shinchan (T.V.)

    Rating: **

    Movie Type: Comedy

This show is non-stop laughing, but for some reason, everyone likes it. I don't like it THAT Much. I don't have to discuss art and music on this one, because I don't think anyone cares for it. (It's pretty bad art anyway) But this show was only meant to entertain. Watch it if you want to.

    Description:

About a crazy, screwed in the head, kid who is just plain wierd. He is perverted, and tries to look at many women. He likes to intimidate the baddest kid in his preschool, and he is a hero to some of his friends. Even when he is this screwed up, he still has feelings somewhat and is just a really wierd kid at heart.

  • Lupin III (T.V, Movie)

    Rating: **

    Movie Type: Action/Comedy

I watched this a little bit, but it didn't really attract my attention too much. It's another one to watch only if you really want to. People in Japan seem to enjoy this a bit.

    Description:

About a master theif who has many tricks up his sleeves. He gets into much trouble and deals with them with his tricky/sneaky moves.

  • Ranma ˝ (T.V, OAV, Movie)

    Rating: ***

    Movie Type: Comedy/Action/Romance

This show is a little old in Japan, but it keeps Americans very entertained. This was a popular show a little while ago in Japan. The art is okay, and the music alike. It's a funny/drama type to watch.

    Description:

About a teenager named Ranma, who is training in China near the lakes of Hisenkyo, when he and his father accidentally fall in! He falls into a pool where a girl drowned, and so when he is splashed with cold water, he turns into a girl. His dad falls into a pool where a panda drowned, and now whenever his dad gets splashed water, he turns into a panda bear! He moves into a martial arts training school, with three girls - Akane, Nabiki, and Kasumi. Ranma is named Akane's Fiance, but she is a very big tomboy. This is the story of Ranma and his troubles with girls who like him, and guys who like his girl side. It's a strange, but entertaining show.

  • Fatal Fury: Legend Of The Hungry Wolf (TV/Movie)

    Rating: **

    Movie Type: Action/Drama

This show was aired on TV in Japan, and it was too short in my opinion. I think it explained an okay storyline otherwise. It kept you entertained with lots of action. Art quality was average.

    Description:

About Terry Bogard, and the story of his master Tung Fu Rue who helps him fight his rival, Geese Howard. Geese killed Terry's Father when Terry was still young. Now learning martial arts, he vows to get his revenge against Geese no matter what happens.

  • Fatal Fury 2: The New Battle (TV/Movie)

    Rating: ***

    Movie Type: Action/Comedy

A Much better sequel to that of the first one. It kept me more entertained than the movie. I liked this one a lot because of the upbeat music in the fight scenes, and the story. The art quality was somewhat better. Lots of action. Fun to watch in spare time.

    Description:

Terry and his brother Andy are back in a sequel from the first Fatal Fury. Now with new friends to accompany him, he fights against a new fighter. One who is almost too powerful. Rudolph Krauser. Tony, a boy on the streets, sticks with Terry throughout his adventure, to finally learn what the meaning of fighting is.

  • Fatal Fury: The Motion Picture (Movie)

    Rating: ***

    Movie Type: Action/Drama

This movie had higher quality art than the other ones carried. They did exaggerate on certain areas of the art, (Like On Mai), yet it carried an okay storyline. The movie was kind of lagging on me, because of it's length. It's an okay one to watch.

    Description:

Terry and the whole gang are all in the last of the Fatal Fury Series, Fatal Fury: The Motion Picture. This is about a woman, who has super natural powers - from the gods, who also has a brother who is power-crazy. As children, her brother killed his father's murderer with a super-powerful weapon, only handled by a true master. Being amazed by what power the weapon brought, he sought to find the rest of the pieces of the armor to become the most powerful person ever. Terry now faces his biggest challenge yet!

  • Doraemon (TV, Movie)

    Rating: **

    Movie Type: Comedy

This show was fun for me when I was a little kid, so I at least have to give it some credit, but for some reason, Japanese people - Teens, Kids, Adults, all love this show because of the funny blue cat and his pocket full of surprises.

    Description:

This is about a little blue robot named Doraemon, and a boy named Nobita who get into much trouble. Doraemon has many little tricks in a pouch that he pulls out, and gets Nobita and his friends into much trouble. An entertaining show to watch.

  • Yuu Yuu Hakusho (TV, Movie)

    Rating: ***

    Movie Type: Action

This show is somewhat like Ruroni Kenshin - (Fighting Scenarios), except a little futuristic and fantasized. It's okay, and the music is okay. The art is ... okay. This one is another popular one in Japan. Watch it if you want.

    Description:

    (Unavailable)

  • Marmalade Boy (TV)

    Rating: ***

    Movie Type: Soap Opera/Drama/Romance

This show is very well done, although the storyline gets complicated as hell. The art is well done, the music is pretty good, and overall, this show is worth watching.

    Description:

About a really strange mixup of families who's Fathers/Mothers Decide to marry each others Husband/Wife. Family all lives in one home. Strange and Dramatical Things with relation and love all mix into this story.

  • Toshinden (Movie)

    Rating: *

    Movie Type: Action

This show was boring as hell. The show carried no story at all, and it was... kinda boring. The art was pretty good, the music, ehhh, no. This was not what I expected from this movie. And to make things worse, it has been declared the first DVD (Digital Video Disc - Or Whatever)

    Description:

About Eiji who travels within lands and meets up with old friends, new enemies, and a lot of action packed into this animation. A good one to watch, I guess if you like Anime in general.

  • IRIA (Video)

    Rating: ***

    Movie Type: Drama/Action

This show was pretty good. I liked the art a lot, and the story line was okay. The music, I dunno, I never really listened to the music. It is an okay series.

    Description:

Intergalactic Space: A girl named IRIA loves to venture out in space, but her friends tell her that she is too weak, and that she's a girl. Her persistence allows her to venture out in space alongside with everyone, and her adventures are fun and suspenseful to watch.

  • Ah! My Goddess! (Video)

    Rating: **

    Movie Type: Drama/Soap Opera/Romance/Comedy

This show is good, but it gets so mushy and loving between Keiichi (Main Character), and Belldandy. I think this show is for teens/adult, and it is an okay show. The music, is well, annoying. The art is great though. I guess this is one to watch.

    Description:

About a College Student named, Keiichi, who gets himself into much trouble after he dials a wrong number and calls the "Relief Goddess Office." An angel grants him one wish, and he wishes for a girl that is just as nice and pretty as her. The angel mistakenly thinks that HE wants HER to stay with him. And thus is the crazy, and funny story of the angel, Belldandy, and Keiichi in this zany love story.

  • The Sky Castle: Laputa (Movie)

    Rating: ***

    Movie Type: Drama/Soap Opera/Action

Almost any anime fan has at least watched this movie once. This was like my first anime-movie I watched. It was very well done, and I liked it a lot. The music is okay, and the art is cool. It has a nice plot too. Watch this one. It's for all ages.

    Description:

About a girl who is claimed to be the princess of a large empire. Stolen away from the empire, a group of her friends/family, (I Think), come to try to save her.. But she winds up in a little town, and meets a boy who sticks with her all the way. This is a nice and fun filled movie to watch.
