Okay…so you chose the downloading tactic.  Well, we have some stuff online to help you get started.  Please take note that we are not responsible for any damage that might happen on your computer. 

However, we have successfully tested these files and assure that they are 100% compatible for Windows 95.  If there are any errors about the programs (or files that you lack to run them), please do not contact us, for we did not create these files.

Movie Clips
  • Download the opening and ending credits of Neon Genesis Evangelion.  These files are located in the Neon Genesis Evangelion Page of Serpent.

    Windows 95 Start-up / Shut Down Screens

    If you think the usual Windows 95 clouds is boring, then download these files to change your start-up and shutdown screens.  If you don't know what to do, then here's how to change them: 
    1. Go the to the C:\ directory (or whatever Windows drive you use), 
    2. Make sure you can view all types of files.  Look for the logo.sys file. 
    3. This is your start-up screen.  Simply back-up the old version and rename your Evangelion start-up screen file to logo.sys. 

      4. The same is true with the shutdown screen...but this time look for the file in the Windows directory.

    Well, tired of the usual startfield simulation or Flying Windows?  How about Rei Ayanami being your screensaver?  This file includes a read-me file for installation instructions.  Please take note that if you do not have vb40032.dll in your computer, this screensaver will not work. Awww...so you don't have the .dll file to run Rei, huh?  Well...don't fear as an added bonus, we also include the vb40032.dll to be downloaded here.
    Other Fun Stuff for Windows 95

    Just can't get enough of Rei?  Well, try this on.  This mini-program will put Rei in every active window you click.  It's more for decoration, but nothing much...try it it's cute.

    If you don't like Rei floating around your desktop, then this version has Asuka Langley Sohryu floating around.  Same principle as Rei's version. You think your cursor is lost?  Don't fear...Pen-Pen is here.  This really cute program will help you find your cursor anytime!
