Planning a Business Venture

- A panel discussion on becoming an entrepreneur. Program included
  • Starting a business plan
  • Interactive discussion on personal experiences of successful businessmen
  • Question and answer session.
It provided an invaluable opportunity to meet with and have one-on-one discussions with businessmen and academicians.
Project Hope
August 30, 1998
- Members volunteered their time at the Salvation Army Family Lodge to help answer phones, staff the front desk and above all lend a friendly ear to the residents.
NetIP National Conference
Sept 4-7, 1998
- Showcase the past, celebrate the present and embrace the future was the theme of the Network of Indian Professionals’ annual conference hosted this year in Los Angeles. Two different tracks, information and media, presented an opportunity to attend workshops and seminars targeted at the fusion of the East and the West.
Diwali Dhamaka

- An evening filled with music, dance, games, food and fireworks – in the true tradition of Diwali!. Helped us promote the rich culture and ethnicity of our country by dressing in traditional attire.
Mulaqaat
March 14, 1998
- Mulaqaat was Net-IP KC's annual professional networking event for 1999. The event allowed individuals from various professions and backgrounds to meet under the umbrella provided by Net-IP. It provided the attendees the opportunity to network with fellow professionals and exchange their ideas and vision, thereby enhancing their professional skills and careers. By interacting with professionals from similar and varied backgrounds, the attendees were able to ascertain the growth opportunities available at various organizations within the city. By identifying their needs, NetIP KC's board, assisted a couple of the attendees in arranging job interviews with prospective employers. Mulaqaat is also the precursor for future events that would center around professional development.
