Well, you've guessed it. This is about ME.

Jacqueline Adelene Goh Sing Li....What a drag!

Real Name: Jac. (this is only the short from. Please refer to ze above!) Actually I've another name, taken for my Confirmation
Nicknames: Ice-cream, speedwind, one-eyed dragon(literal chinese translation), 'Ah Gao' (dialect for 'dog') and various others I can't remember.

Ice-cream: My primary school friend saw me eating ice-cream almost everyday, thus she chose this nickname for me... ice-creams were real cheap then...one for ten cents!

One-eyed dragon: I have a lazy left eye. I think this means that my brain detected some defect in my left eye & chose not to use it, relying on my right eye all the time. During my primary school days, my doctor's advice was to cover ze right side of my spectacles with a white sticky plaster, so that my brain will be forced to use ze left eye. Ze guys in my schoolbus gave me this nick when they saw my spects...I hated it a lot! Thankfully, I don't do that now, even tho' I still have a very lazy left eye...Everyone used to think there was something wrong with my right eye!

'Ah Gao': This was because of my surname! My surname is 'Goh' and it sounds like 'Dog' in Mandarin. My primary school friends, however, changed it so that they can call me 'Ah Gao' in dialect. I was extremely frustrated & irritated. (who wouldn't?) Luckily, I've out-grown this nick! To my friends & classmates, I hope you won't take this chance to call me by this nick! I'll wring the neck of whoever calls me this nick!

Hmm...I think that should be all there is to it. .... Maybe not...

Well, I like fun and adventure. Oh, that monkey? It could represent me.
No, of course I don't look like that. Why did I compare myself to a monkey? When I was younger, I was...um...extremely naughty and my classmates complained about me a lot. Now, I'm a much grown up chimpanzee..er...I mean girl. I still have my playful ways (of course). Hmm...if you didn't know, I was born in the Year of The Monkey. My mother always told her relatives & friends that she had thought that I would be an extremely naughty girl when I was born. You see, she said that there were 2 whorls on my head & these meant that the child would be very naughty. This was further emphasized by the fact that I was born in the Year of The Monkey....
Well, I am naughty...it's just that I choose not to display this fact in front of my mother...heh heh....Who wants to get caned anyway?

To describe myself physically....I admit I'm pretty short, and I come from a family of small-sized people. Thus my size. (Boo Hoo Hoo!)('Sob!') I used to be 'Acceptable Weight', but now I think I'm underweight! Me standing at about 1.54m tall & probably weigh about 38 kg...How's that for an extremely underweight person? Can you believe that I'm actually ze fattest female in ze family?

I seem to be a little deaf at times. And perhaps, a little blind as well. Or maybe it's because I'm often in a world of my own? Whatever... To those who know me, I think you people would have to talk in a slightly louder volume to me. Now, I do dig my ears often, not that I don't. If I seem 'blur' ( - a confused state of mind) to you, this may be because I haven't been listening to you or that I do not know what you are talking about.

I am also a comic freak like my friend Kazeyuki here. I think I will always be a comic freak. So far, I've read CLAMP's "X", "CLAMP Campus Detectives", "Dear Boys", "Ranma", the famous "Dragonball", "Yu Yu Hakusho", "Tenchi Muyo", "Fushigi Yuugi", "Rurouni Kenshin" and various others. I really have to thank my brother for introducing me to the world of comics. It was he that first brought a comic home and I started reading it out of sheer boredom. Afterwards, I got hooked on it like heroin. (Come on, gimme those comics!) At some point in time, I realised that one of the requirements in collecting comics is - money. Comics can be real costly, y'know. They can be quite a drain on my financial assets. (if I have any) Especially the original ones imported from Taiwan or Hong Kong.

I am also a computer fanatic. Hmm...maybe 'fanatic' is too heavy a word to use. Oh well, it's another influence from that brother of mine. He's always playing computer games! I would most certainly feel awkward if I did not 'touch' my computer for a week. It's another drug on my life. Due to this, I hope to be able to get into a computer related course in the University in the near future. That's future aspiration for you.

As abovementioned, I do play the guitar, but not very well. I can play the melody, provided I have the notes. However, I can't tune my guitar! Well, I've given up  trying to master "Wonderful Tonight" and "That Why You Go Away (I Know)". Memorizing the chords is one thing, and trying to speed up my playing is another. At this rate, I don't think I'll be able to play well. So, it's just another hobby to me. I always call my guitar my 'husband dear', also known in Chinese as 'Lao Gong'. But now, my 'husband dear' is collecting dust in ze storeroom...

Latest Thingys 'bout me: *sigh!* My poly exams are just around ze corner...and my boyfriend refuses to see me until my exams are finished. He wants me to pass with flying colours...oh, I also bought a lot of Japanese CDs too...there goes my finances...oh

I think that's all I have to say about myself...or do I? ^-^v

Below is a picture Kazeyuki sent me. Isn't it nice of her?
