The land of the dead. The Darkrealm (Makai), the place where humans go after death. Ruled by three main Clans. The Aensland/Arnslan: with Morrigan as the heir, the clan Doma: with Jedah as its heir, and the clan of Bosital.

Jedah, also known as the Death King, opened the Darkrealm's gates to the human world reasulting his death. A hundred years later, Demitri, Prince of Darkness, awoke from his sleep after the defeat of his clan during a war years ago. Being the heir to the clan of Maximoff/Maximov, he dicided to challenge the greatest clan of all time to regain the honor that his clan had lost. The greatest clan at that time happend to be the Aensland/Arnslan clan of Morrigan. That battle changed the lives of the people of both worlds thus they became known as the Darkstalkers.

All that happend in the past but the story continues far more into our present times. The soul of Jedah, the death king, was resurected. Having the chance to see the future of their world and the humans at the brink of destruction. In order for Jedah to save all, he must unite all living in order to become one. For one is strong when together and the world would be with no conflict. Jedah creates a place called the "Damned Dimension" (Majigen) which would be able to hold and contain all the most valuable of souls together and summon them. Once again, the battle of the Darkstalkers begin.
