The island of Lodoss is at peace finally after a long war of the gods ended. Then comes a new evil that is disrupting that peace once again. Parn, a young warrior, heads out on a journey to find out the cause and to end it. And also to to restore the respect and honor of his fathers name. Accidentally he forms a band of six who, like him, have the same or almost the same reasons as Parn. Namely they are: Deedlit, a young elf who is attracted to our warrior although she is quite angry at his lack of interest. Ghim, a dwarf fighter hunted by his personal failure. Etoh, a priest. Slayn, a skilled magician, and finally Woodchuck, a thief.

Together they must fight and restore peace. Together they are strong.
