Usagi in detail
Usagi is a clumsy, yet lovable girl. We
first met her as she was attending Juuban Junior High and met Ami and Mako-chan
(who later became Sailors Mercury and Jupiter). Of course, she eventually
gets to Juuban High School and becomes classmates with Minako-chan (Sailorvenus)
as well. Usagi's best friend (at least her best non-senshi friend)
is Naru-chan. Naru's boyfriend is Umino (who tried to get with Usagi
many times). Unfortunately, they do not seem to have much involvement
in Usagi's life after the first few seasons or so. As the time goes
by, Usagi gets less and less whiney and clumsy (even though she keeps the
charm that gives her her funny personality). Usagi's love is Mamoru
(called by her Mamo-chan), who happens to be the past Prince Endimiyon
and future Neo-King Endimiyon (just as Usagi was the past Princess Serenity
and future Neo-Queen Serenity). As the leader of the sailor senshi,
Sailormoon is the one who the senshi protect. She is the holder of
many important items and uses them throughout the series to defeat evil.
Being the mother of Chibiusa (Sailorchibimoon), Sailormoon must teach
Chibiusa (who came from the future) to replace her as Sailormoon when she
becomes Neo-Queen Serenity of Crystal Tokyo.
Sailormoon's Transformations
Moon Prism Power, Make Up!
(Moon Prisima Pawah, Make UP!)
Usagi said this to transform into Sailormoon
for all the first season and about half the second season (Sailormoon R).
This is done using the prism brooch (the one first given to her by Luna).
Moon Crystal Power, Make Up!
(Moon Ker-rees-tah-lu Pawah, Make
UP!)
This is Sailormoon's second transformation done
in the second half of Sailormoon R and a few episodes or so in Sailormoon
S. This is the first transformation, however to use the ginziousho
(silver crystal). This is done using the crystal transformation brooch
given to her by the spirit of her mother, Queen Serenity.
Moon Cosmic Power, Make Up!
(Moon Cos-i-meek-a Pawah, Make
UP!)
This is Sailormoon's third transformation done
in the major part of Sailormoon S. Still using the silver crystal,
Sailormoon uses the cosmic transformation brooch created from the love
between her and Tuxedo Kamen.
Crisis, Make Up!
(Ca-reye-sees, Make UP!)
This is Sailormoon's fourth transformation done
in the rest of Sailormoon S which is actually an upgrade of the cosmic
power henshin. Using the Holy
Grail (revealed by the Outer Senshi), Sailormoon does not use a transformation
brooch in this transformation, even though there is still one on her bow
(which is the same brooch used for Sailormoon's Cosmic transformation).
Moon Crisis, Make Up!
(Moon Ca-reye-sees, Make UP!)
Slightly different (in the words) from Crisis,
Make Up, Moon Crisis (Sailormoon's fifth transformation) uses the power
of the Pegasus named Helios. A transformation brooch is present and
used (the silver crystal is probably used somewhat as well). This
transformation occurs in most of Sailormoon Super S and a few episodes
of Sailormoon Sailorstars.
Moon Eternal, Make Up!
(Moon Ee-ter-na-loo, Make UP!)
This being Sailormoon's sixth and final transformation
in the five series, Sailormoon uses the silver crystal and transformation
brooch (which, when transformed, no longer sits apon a bow). She
uses the brooch used in Sailormoon Super S which was powered up by all
the senshi (except Supersailorchibimoon) which is the Eternal Brooch.
Sailormoon's Attacks
Moon Tiara Action!
(Moon Tee-ar-ah Action!)
This is Sailormoon's first attack and is mainly
used for all of the first season and part of the second season (where it
begins to lose effectiveness). When Sailormoon performs this
attack, she lights up the jewel in her tiara and then takes her tiara off
her head. She spins in place a few times, stops, and then throws
the tiara. This is the only attack Sailormoon has that can directly
combine with attacks from the other Sailor Senshi (i.e. Sailormercury's
shabon spray and Sailormars' fire soul).
Moon Princess Halation!
(Moon Per-reen-ses-su Hah-lai-tion!)
This is Sailormoon's second attack using the
Moon Sceptre. This is done through most of the second season after
the spirit of Queen Serenity of the Silver Millenium gave Sailormoon the
crystal transformation brooch and the Moon Sceptre (Cutie Moon Rod).
When she does this attack, the jewel at the top of the rod sparkles.
Then she waves it as she turns around to finally stop with her legs spread
apart in an action stance. The next thing you see is Sailormoon waving
the rod saying the "magic words" and finally ending up with her locked
together with a stream of sparkles and flashing lights come out with a
crescent moon energy also projected.
Moon Spiral Heart Attack!
(Moon Speye-ra-lu Hart Attahck!)
This is Sailormoon's third attack (Supersailormoon's
first attack) using the Spiral Heart Moon Rod. She twirls the rod
around like a baton and finally ends up kneeling on the ground holding
the rod up in the air projecting pink ribbons that either slice at the
enemy or wrap around the enemy and sqeezes it until it bursts.
Rainbow Moon Heart Ache!
(pronunciation is self explanitory)
This is Sailormoon's fourth attack (Supersailormoon's
second attack) which also uses the Spiral Heart Moon Rod. It slightly
varies from Moon Spiral Heart Attack!, but it is varied nontheless (an
upgrade of Moon Spiral Heart Attack)
Moon Gorgeous Meditation!
(Moon Gore-jahs Meh-di-tai-tion!)
This is Sailormoon's fifth attack (Supersailormoon's
third attack) which uses the KaleideMoonScope. The only version of
this attack I've seen is the version in the Sailormoon Super S movie, so
I can't give a standard description. Gomen!
Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss!
(this pronunciation is also self-explanitory)
This is Sailormoon's sixth and final attack (Eternalsailormoon's
first and only attack). I've read that this attack is pretty lame,
so I won't bother writing a description (especially since I've never seen
it personally).
Sailormoon's Miscellaneous Powers
Moon Power!
(Moon Pawah!)
This is not really a transformation (that's why
it's in this section). All this does is make Usagi look different
so she can go where she usually couldn't go being Usagi (i.e. night clubs,
computer schools, radio stations). This is mostly used in the first
season. This is done using the Luna pen.
Moon Healing Escalation
(Moon Hee-lin-gu Ehs-cah-lai-tion!)
This is probably the best example as to why Sailormoon
is the most powerful Sailor senshi (and NOT Supersailorsaturn!).
You see, it is easy to destroy things (which Supersailorsaturn seems to
be able to do very well). However, the ability to heal and correct
the wrongs done with love is the most powerful force of all. And
even though this motion is only used during the first season (due to the
fact that the Crescent Moon Wand (Moon Stick) was lost after the fight
with Queen Beryl), this has probably got to be the best example of the
most powerful power of Sailormoon.
