As the shadow of the moon darkens the sky
And the air filled with a dense mist
You close yours eyes and layback thinking
Thinking of a beauty that no one can resist
Her smile that fills the light in the darkness
Her eyes that glow with radiance
Staring upon you like an angel from heaven
Causing you to be in deep trance
A chance to be alone with her at this night
Wondering if she could be there
You arrive at her small house
Finding yourself just to stare
You start looking through the window
Gazing upon a beauty at rest
Soon the sun strikes her eyes
You wanted to run, but you feel staying is best
You soon find yourself turning around
Thinking of the wonderful joys of being together
But knowing that could never be
Because she already has someone better
For she has found her one true love
Pain flows through your sadden heart
You walk away wishing her the best of luck
Slowly, painfully having to part
In your soul, you promised to be just friends
To care so much everyday for her
You can't live without her close in your arms
Knowing that her relationship won't be over.
Your crush admires you as a friend
Nothing less, nothing more
