Wow... You found a secret page. Are you happy about that? Do little things like this bring you joy, helping you to get through the endless years? Or is it something else that you cling to in this life? Is there anything special that anchors you to this mortal coil, a sweetheart perhaps? That's it; isn't it? Love, or the possibility thereof keeps you breathing. So many people spend an interminable measure of time seeking someone to fill the void in their lives. They search for happiness in their latest beloved. Is it love? Is there truly such a thing? The question's answer is subjective (unless you were to argue that the concept exists, therefore it exists if only in conceptual form, or some such drivel), and so it should be. Anyway -even though I said I would avoid the matter (as if you'd know)- this page serves as my tribute to... relationships.
Roan
Roan & Bolt were plainly wrong for each other. Who among us hasn't had a crush on someone? While this isn't the way all romantic relationships commence, surely a great percentage of them are generated through this process. So often infatuation is conceived for the wrong reasons, but by experimentation we learn what we genuinely want.
Francine & Katchoo
Whether their love is anything more than merely platonic is a mystery, but the nature of their friendship is immaterial. The essential significance of their association is that they make each other happy.
Kaoru & Kenshin
These two seem to have a pure & deeply rooted love for one another. It began awkwardly, but was constantly strengthened throughout their relationship. Our idea of love is totally unrealistic. We want someone whose presence & touch make us feel something exceptionally extraordinary, but it doesn't work that way for everyone. Forgive the rough comparison between emotional responses, but it's like expecting to look upon a certain artwork in the hopes of feeling what the artist does/did (the past tense is presented to cover the possibility that the feelings changed, or the artist died, assuming feelings die with an individual) or even what another observer feels/felt, when most people are far too psychologically different for this level of sympathy. And so we search endlessly for some vague, ideal feeling that we think someone else has, even though it may be impossible to find.
Akane & Ranma
Why do Akane & Ranma stand in their own way? Frequently, bonds are reluctant to form. In some cases people deny their feelings, in others the emotions take time to blossom. While there are several reasons, the point is that love usually defers development.
Francine
This appears to be the main product of love. Although we may search perpetually for the ideal, it seems more common that the painful aspect of love cruelly crushes us beneath its heel.
This page in no way functions to promote acceptance or rejection of the existence of love. Ultimately, love is what you make of it. Seraku did not write this page, but he has generously allowed it to be placed on his site.-Stargazer
The only Star came down from the heavens to visit me. She whispered the truth of love in my ear, and I cannot disbelieve it.
