The phone rang and Minami went to pick up the phone. A male voice say ,"finally you picked up the phone". Minami hoping that it is hasekura, asked with hope, "who are you? "its me, Shinji" It appears that this man is actually her brother and he hints to Minami that he is near her apartment. Upon hearing that it is her brothe, she hangs up the phone and said to Sena that it is a wrong number. Just then, the doorbell ring, thinking that it might be hasekura, Minami went to open the door, but is disappointed and shock to find her brother at the door. It seens that Shinji had disappeared for 5 years and has come to congraulate her sister's marriage. He apparently doesnt know waht had happened. Then he saw Sena and thought that he is Hasekura and address him as his brother-in-law. Sena is even more suprise when he saw how well Shinji play a famous piano piece. Shinji then tells them how he and his girlfriend gamble all the way back to Tokyo. Still thinking that Sena is his brother-in-law, he asked Sena to give them 200 million yen. Minami scolded him and tell him that Sena is not his brother in law and that her fiance ran away on the wedding day.
The next day. he told his friend what happened yesterday in his apartment when he met him at the University. He then saw Ryoko and was going over to her to explain about the phone call, when his friend stopped him, asking him to buy from him the 2 tickets for a concert and to Ryoko out. Then Sena went to explain to Ryoko that the one who answer the phone last night is his distance relative. He then ask her out on a concert and she agrees. Meanwhile, Minami was asked to commercial for a product which would be a woman chest fuller, but she rejected, and was asked to become the manager of a newcomer. Feeling unhappy about this, she and Momoko went to play pachino, which she also wishes to bump into hasekura, as this is the place where they often go to. And of couse she didnt and they decided to go for dinner. Sena was supposed to see the concert with Ryoko, but the ticket turns out to be a yesterday ticket. Ryoko then suggested going to the amusement park. Ryoko says that it seems like they are having a date but Sena suddenly says that it isnt. Later he appologise to Ryoko saying that he had say something he should't have said. Ryoko then suggested having dinner and they end up at the same place with Minami and Momoko. However, Sena try to not let Minami sees him, but was unsuccessful. When Minami (who is half drunk again) sees the both of them, she teases them and gave them a discount coupon of a hotel. Sena tells Minami to stop, but was already too late, Ryoko was already in tears and ran out. Sena chased after her and Ryoko thanked him for giving her a great time, she then walked away. Sena then returned to the shop and is preparing to leave when the noodles he ordered was served to he. He had no choice but to eat it up. Minami then hand over the coupon to him again. Sena then says that Minami doesnt care about the feelings of other people and thats way Hasekura left her. Minami then scolded Sena that if he really like Ryoko he should take her to the hotel, and scolded him a coward. Sena then says that Minami is not like a woman at all and walked off.
On the other hand Shinji and his girlfriend found a job in the pub. Sena was asked to teach a high sch student Takako(Hirosue Royko), but it seems that she doesnt listen to what Sena says.
Minami and Shinji were talking in the pachino centre, and she keeps turning about, trying to catch a glimspe of Hasekura. She asked if Shinji is still playing piano and he says he is getting tired of it. He also tell Minami should be serious looking for a jobtoo.
Sena is sending Takako out, and tell her that she feel happy when playing the piano. She reply that she doesnt want to become like him (Ryoko came in and hear what Takako says) and she wants to become a real pianoist and leave. "I am also playing the piano seriously," he said to Ryoko.
Ryoko was walking pass a salon when Shinji came up to chat with her. Shinji invited Ryoko for a drink but she reply that she doesnt go out with stranger. But Shinji keeps perstering her and said something that makes her angry, he appologies to her and Ryoko says that dont joke with her and walked away.
Sena is walking pass the pachino centre when he saw Minami pacing up and down, "what is she doing" Sena thinks and walked away. As Sena was playing the piano, Minami came home and sits quietly outside the apartment to listen. But she accidentally knocks onto the door and Sena stopped. He opened the door and saw Minami sitting there, he asked what Minami was doing. Minami then hands him over a drink and says that she doesnt want to disturb him playing as the song is very touching. Sena then asks her to go in and he ask wat she is doing at the pachino. Minami then tell him the reason. The both of them then talked and Sena said that their life is like the supporting actor in the movie, as they will never be in the limelight. Minami then say when can she become the main actor. Sena then comforts her by saying that to treat those unhappy moments like a Long Vacation given by the gods.
The next morning, Sena was checking the mail when he saw an invitation to Hasekura's wedding. He tried to walk away with the mail without letting Minami sees it, but Minami senses that he was hiding something and tries to snatch the mails from him. In the end, the invitation card was tore into two and Minami got the half where most of the words and a picture of Hasekura was on it. She tries again to snatch another half with the bride's picture from Sena but it was swallowed by him. She then look at the piece she got n read "we .....are ....married..." and she cried out. She saw Sena swallowing something and ask him wat he was doing. "This is the first time that i swallowed paper, I m taking some digestive pills to help me digest........"
