Syougi


Summary
"Syougi" is the japanese chess. It's nearly equal to the Chess with out to cast a die. Most famous champion in the successions is Sankichi Sakata who is strong enough to not enable to see his wife's death. If you become the matchless champion, you are called "Meijin".

Making
  1. Let's down load the bitmap archive. syougi.zip (22KB)
  2. Extract the archive by WinZip or the other utilities. This is included 2 sheets which is the playing board and another is pieces.
  3. Open the bitmap file and print out to your color printer.
  4. Cut off the pieces and together the face and back.
Rules

In the first, I explain movement of pieces.

Gin vice-chief his reverse is equal to Kin
Kei-Ma Knight his reverse is equal to Kin
Kyou-sya Spear her reverse is equal to Kin
Fu Infantry his reverse is equal to Kin
Hisya Castle or Head of sales office his reverse is origin added Kin.
Kaku Bishop or Counselor his reverse is origin added Kin.

  1. Decide the preceding by casting the die.
  2. Player cast the die and be able to make piece move by times indicated number of die.
  3. If your piece coincides with oponent's then you can get the piece which can be used for your next move.
  4. If your piece enter the oponent's area then your piece is able to reverse and increase it's power.
  5. If your piece step in or pass through this marks then you must wait to play one or two time. This way is called "Shinchi Street".
    : "Sake" area to wait one time.
    : "Onna" area to wait two times.
    If your casting get 5 moves and you step in "Onna" area then your total moves is 3.
  6. At the last, if you get the Oh-Syou then you win.
