Koi-Nobori
Summary
At 5th the May in every year, japanese raise the carp flag called "Koi-Nobori" praying their child's healthy growth.
"Koi" or "Goi" is "Carp" and "Nobori" is old expression of "Flag".
5th the May is "The Day of Child" in japan.
And they eat the rice ball called "Kashiwa-Mochi" and rice stick called "Hachimaki" which is wraped in fallen leaf.

Making
- Let's down load the bitmap archive. carp.zip (62KB)
- Extract the archive by WinZip or the other utilities. This is included 3 sheets of flags.
- Open the bitmap file and print out for your color printer.
- At first, you have to cut off the flags from total 3 sheets. they are called severally "Tare-Nagashi", "Mono-Goi", and "Inochi-Goi".
- Secondly, you have to roll them into round and bind by Scotch tape.
- Next, you have to fasten any thread at three point of their mouth and tie three threads.
- Lastly, you have to hang three flags at any piece of rob together.
- If you want more large size then enlarge the bitmap to 1 meter, 10 meter, 100 meter or more.
