My Pocket Watch Collection

This is a 16 size Illinois "Bunn Special" pocket watch, once of the finest railroad grade watches ever made. And this is one of the finest Bunn Specials ever made! It has a whopping 23 jewels [note the jewelled mainspring barrel] and is adjusted to temperature and 6 positions. It also has gold screw down jewel settings and a gold gear train.

As with all railroad grade watches from this period, it's stem wind and lever set. The serial number [3948728] dates it to about 1922. The watch is housed in a lovely and highly engraved Keystone "J.BOSS" 20 year gold filled case. The watch is in as near to mint condition as any watch I have ever owned, with only the slightest scratches on the rear cover inside the uninitialed shield.
