My Pocket Watch Collection

This is a very attractive 18 size Waltham P.S. Bartlett housed in a stamped Waltham coin silver hunting case. The original single sunk porcelain dial is free of hairlines and is marked "A.W.C. WALTHAM". Hands are beautiful blue and free of rust or tarnish. The Model 1877 movement is clean, strong running, and keeping good time. Lever set, stem wind. Serial #2234979, made about 1884. The movement isn't marked as to what the jewel count is, but would appear to be between 11 and 15 jewels. The movement screws are really nice gun metal blue color. Case is stamped on inside front cover "AW CO COIN". Front cover is engine turned with leaf designs and an uninitialed shield. One very small ding in center of cover. Back cover has the same design but no shield.
