My One And Only

This is a short poem based on Darien lonely life until he mets Serena. I think this hits the slightly more romantic side of Darien. Well, in my opinion anyway.

How long has it been?
That I've stood here in the night
Watching for something unseen
Searching for a light

People say there is no hope
To find what I'm looking for
What they say does not make me mope
I'll just wait some more

I search for my light
My heart holds no fear
This warmth feels so right
I know that you are here

The light comes from you
My one and only
My heart goes to you
Cause I know you'll never leave me lonely
