After a little slow down, Cambodian
movie making business is back. Movie theaters started
to emerge in the city of Phnom Penh as new movies
are releasing. Back in the United States, Cambodian
movie making is also taking shape. A production called,
RPC, stands for Refugee Production Company, is in
the process of rejuvenating Cambodian movie making
by using the techniques used by American movie makers.

and the star in the movies that the production
had released. Mr. Sam Lorn studied at the New
York Film Academy and he had extensive experiences
with movie making. Before starting RPC, he was
employed by CBS, one of the big television networks
in the United States, and also made contributions
in such TV show as, “New York Undercover,” and
in the movie, “Moving Target”. In January 2000,
he started "Forlorn Films," a distribution
